Just seems to be some ordinary capitalism using standard practices ... not necesarilly illegal, unless there's a power play by the government.

There's not enough in the article, other than bringing charges, to say one way or another that this is a breach of national security.
We're allied with India, and it might be some foreign trade that is allowed.

But I'll concede your point and state that I don't choose capitalism over national security.

Personally, I'd like to think we could survive as a nation by closing our four borders for a few years. The socialists and NAFTAtes would hate it, but it wouldn't bother me ... we have all we need right here on our own turf.
