SUBJECT: Trailer Theft
Date: April 13, 2007
The Post Falls Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 26-foot utility sports trailer that was stolen from the 1300 block of East 3rd St. in Post Falls on Monday April 9th at 3:00 am. Near by video surveillance footage shows the trailer being pulled by a white or light silver early to mid 90’s 1-ton dual rear tired truck with cab over running lights. The truck pulled the trailer westbound on 3rd St. and than proceeded northbound on Spokane St. The truck was later seen in the area of Curleys Tavern at 26433 W. Hwy 53 at approximately 4:17 am. The trailer contained two snowmobiles that were later discovered abandoned in an industrial area off of Flora in the Spokane Valley .

The utility trailer is described as a white 2007 26-foot Mirage Extreme sports trailer. The trailer has access doors to the front, rear and side (see picture below).

ST. CATHARINES – An undercover police truck with two firearms inside was stolen from St. Catharines Thursday morning, prompting Niagara Regional Police to ask for the public’s assistance locating it. The unmarked grey 2006 GMC Sierra – licence plate 803 8RM – had been issued to an officer as part of an investigation.
The officer was authorized to take the vehicle home. But on Thursday morning, the truck had disappeared from the parking lot of an apartment building in north St. Catharines.
The officer’s “lock box” was inside the truck. Stored in the box were a service pistol and a police-issued shotgun and ammunition. The vehicle also contained a bulletproof vest. The NRP’s criminal investigation branch and Ontario Provincial Police auto theft team are investigating. Police said the theft appeared to be random and there was no information to indicate the officer or the vehicle had been targetted. Police have asked anyone with information to call the NRP at 905-688-4111, ext. 4272 or Crime Stopper at 1-800-222-TIPS.
