Hillary Clinton's campaign to become America's first female president is failing to win over a key voting bloc - her fellow women.
Forty-five per cent of all women, and 52 per cent of those who are married, have already firmly decided that they will not vote for Sen Clinton if she secures the Democratic nomination, according to a Harris Interactive poll released last week.
She performed better among single women in the survey - 41 per cent backed her while 42 per cent said they would either vote for a rival candidate or stay at home on election day.
Sen Clinton has been aggressively wooing women's groups and last week was endorsed by the National Organisation for Women, one of the country's oldest female advocacy groups.
Her opponents have long argued that she is an unusually polarising figure, and recent polls have offered support for that criticism, with large swathes of the population insisting that they will "definitely" or "never" vote for her. The Clinton camp dismissed the Harris survey as a freak result.
In 1984, more women voted for the Reagan-Bush ticket than their Democrat challengers, even though Geraldine Ferraro was on the ballot. But Miss Ferraro puts that down to a Republican landslide and says "countless women" have told her that she was a role model for them.
Sen Clinton's daughter Chelsea, 26, is expected to join the campaign to push her mother's "mom" credentials.
Yeah, Chelsea, tell us how it was leaving vacations early because your mom had thrown another lamp at your dad.
Either sex can spot a shrewish bitch.
I'm sure she can't count them! ;-)

Married women are so stupid, just staying home, baking cookies. Just a bunch of Tammy Wynettes.
"Fair sex" -- words that would NEVER describe HRC
???? "Sex appeal" and "Hillary" in the same sentence?? BAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!
Hillary is a woman?? Couldn't prove it by me.
Sex appeal? Most women just aren't attracted that way to other women.
I find it strange that liberals think that women will vote for a woman just because she's a woman. I don't buy it, but it's typical of their tunnel visioned view of life.
Now if it was a Thatcher...
There isn't enough enough Viagra and other sexual stimulants in the known universe to enable me to bed this woman. I'd rather just whack-off.
Sorry 'bout that Admin moderator.
"Fair sex."
County fair sex, maybe.
What appeal?
Mrs Clinton needs a personality transfusion.
Now don't mince words! LOL
" Women resist Mrs Clinton's fair sex appeal"
When I read that title, I saw this:
"Women resist Mrs Clinton's sex appeal"
I think I'm going to hurl.
ROFLMAO!!!
Dick Morris keeps telling us that Hillary will attract millions of women to the polls who would otherwise not vote, just to vote for her.
