Ilana Wexler has a dilemma. The Hillary Clinton for President campaign wants her to chair its Students for Hillary committee. At the same time, several of her friends are stumping for Barack Obama and want her to join their team. But if Wexler, 15, has her way, Al Gore will declare his candidacy, and she'll endorse him.
It figures that Clinton et al would covet the Ilana Factor: Three years ago, she was a plucky 12-year-old who started a grassroots organization called Kids for Kerry and addressed the Democratic National Convention in Boston. Sporting a crown of curly red hair and an effervescent smile, Wexler became an instant celebrity during the three-minute speech that followed Obama's historic keynote address. Now, she's in demand again, an indication of how politicians are seeking support from the 76 million Millennials, as the generation born between 1980 and 2000 is called -- even when, like Wexler, they are too young to vote.
"My goal was to get younger children -- my age -- aware about politics," she said. "I was very passionate about it."
Wexler is a freshman at Berkeley High, where she takes classes in the communications arts

One would expect a 15 year old young skull full of mush to "endorse" al-Gore. She doesn't pay taxes. What a pinhead. She's going to make a great 'RAT bimbo when she grows up.
Ilana needs to know that Democrats hate Jews.
Ugh - I remember this mincing little weirdo. No doubt one of the most abrasive, obnoxious kids ever to be associated with politics. It's so true that liberals treat adults like children, and treat children like adults.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
The people turning this poor kid into a self-absorbed egomaniac ought to be ashamed.

All children are self-absorbed egomaniacs, to begin with. When they grow out of it ... voila! They're conservatives!
I remember her too. And I remember wondering why a 12 year old should be listened to seriously on politics and world affairs...kind of like, why does anyone think actors have some special insight into politics? It came off as gimmicky, and very annoying.

I wonder how many times she gets to vote?
The great irony is the party that equates the unborn to "choices" is relying on one that got away to speak for them. Whatever is convenient.
Ilana, spending all your free time working for a campaign while not getting paid would really cut into your study time and social life. My recommendation is that you should study hard, do your homework, do well in school, make an effort to be smart, and you can do well in life. If you don't, you could end up a moonbat.
Stupid little twit.
Alas, it is all too obvious that far to many of them do NOT grow out of it.........
Yes, that's a problem. It doesn't help when adults act like being a fool is profound.
