Tiananmen Square - Video Reminder of Chinese Evil

Enjoy this graphic reminder of the evil nature of the current illegal Chinese Communist regime.

The brave students and martyrs at Tiananmen Square deserve a little more than MFN status for their killers.

Transcript from Radio Beijing's English Service, June 4, 1989:

"June 4, 1989. The most tragic events happened in the Chinese Capital Beijing. Thousands of innocent civilians were killed by millitary troops as they forced their way into the center of the City. Among the killed, there were our collegues of Radio Beijing. Even after the military convey forced into the crowds, they shot indiscriminately."

Never Forget!

The photograph of the lone man standing in front of the tank is forever etched into my memory. It was a powerful image.

You can search google for "sell out" and "traitor" and "sell the rope that make our own noose" and a lot of names should pop up.

Can you even imagine the guts that this boy had to do this incredible thing?

That boy embodies the "brief shining moment". How I wish him an eternity of peace for his sacrifice!

Never Forget!

It was good to see this.

It's hard to believe that it has been almost eighteen years since that era. When you thought about China then, it wasn't about Walmart consumer products, it was about the vision of freedom that seemed to be about to be birthed.

What a loss.

That lone brave man; the tank actually turned aside for him.

There must have been a few in the People's Army with a conscience.

Now China is a fascist state, in the true sense of that word.

The good news is that it wasn't all in vain. Eastern Europeans saw what happened and it inspired the events that ultimately brought down the Berlin Wall.

The authorities knew that PLA members from urban areas would be more sympathetic to the students, so they bussed in soldiers from the countryside, who were still for the most part fervent Maoists.

Something of note: I tried searching images.google.cn for the common misspelling 'tianamen square' and the search yielded the two images below as the top hits; there are other pictures of the protests that show up as well. Apparently the ChiCom filter programmers thought to filter searches in English but neglected to account for misspellings. May the truth yet infiltrate the communist state!

Same here, for so many reasons. I also remember the statue that the students created: The Goddess of Liberty.
