They will be wading over with that next.

Its funny we inspect fruits and plants that come in from other countries for flies and varmints that might take root here, but we let these people wade over with anything they may be carrying.

A successful eradication program in Latin America in the 1960s sent the disease into remission, but economic crises and government downsizing sapped those efforts over the next two decades.

It is fairly likely that the Black Plague originated in Central America and spread to Europe and over to China. Wouldn't be a surprise for another disease to cook down there and come out into the world with virulence.

"longer rainy seasons some blame on climate change"
Ah, yes, it's global warming. If there's a drought, it's global warming. If there's too much rain, it's global warming. If a disease is spreading, it's global warming. No, wait, it's "climate change". And everyone is supposed to know, without saying it, that man has caused it.

"... together with climate change, probably share blame for dengue's rise in the Americas, Kuri said."

There always has to be a climate change angle. The DDT ban is the more likely culprit; but the ecofascists won't even admit there was ever a ban -- it's easier to just rewrite history.

This dengue spread "is one of the primordial public health problems the country faces," said Mexico's Public Health Department, which has sent hundreds of workers to the resorts of Puerto Vallarta, Cancun and Acapulco to try to avert outbreaks ahead of the Easter week vacation.

Dengue is less likely to be caused by the warming temperatures than it is to be caused by the banning of DDT.

Okay, I try not to get into conspiracy theories, but it unnerves me so when more and more land is claimed for wetlands, and I can understand the reasoning behind, but I can't help but think that they want to kill humans; as these are mosquito breeding grounds!

And, yes, by all means, lets bring back DDT.

Well hells bells, lets invite the uneducated unwashed freaks here. Let's make a special case to bring them all here to take advantage of our health care system.
