NOTE: As a Calvinist Presbyterian, I am both honored an humbled by the role which God ordained for Presbyterians to execute in the founding of this great nation: The Root of America -- The Tree of Liberty is watered with the blood of Calvinists "When Cornwallis was driven back to ultimate retreat and surrender at Yorktown, all of the colonels of the Colonial Army but one were Presbyterian elders"...

FULL DISCLOSURE: That being said, I do not personally believe that the United States Constitution was Divinely Inspired by the direct establishment of God Himself. HOWEVER, as pointed out by the devoted LDS author of this Article, Devout Mormons DO believe that the United States Constitution was Divinely Established by God Himself, and therefore RON PAUL is the only moral choice for Latter Day Saint believers.

According to the most recent polling data, amongst Declared Republican Candidates RON PAUL has already moved into 4th place behind Giuliani, McCain, and Romney, moving steadily ahead of all the 1 Percenters like Hunter, Tancredo, Tommy Thompson, Huckabee, Brownback, and Gilmore. Perhaps it is time for Latter Day Saints to rally behind Ron Paul and his impeccable defense of "the divinely inspired Constitution"... and help move Ron Paul from 4th Place, into 3rd?

That's what the above-posted devout Latter Day Saint argues.

RON PAUL is the RIGHT Candidate for Pro-Life social conservatives.

RON PAUL is the RIGHT Candidate for Tax-Cutting fiscal conservatives.

RON PAUL is the ONLY 100% Anti-Terrorist candidate.

RON PAUL is the RIGHT Candidate for National Defense and Foreign Affairs.

RON PAUL is the RIGHT Candidate for the Bill of Rights.

RON PAUL is the RIGHT Candidate on Illegal Immigration.

RON PAUL is the ONLY socially-conservative Candidate defending the independence of the Christian Church against Federal "Faith-Based Socialism".

"I got to know President Reagan in 1976 when, as a freshman congressman, I was one of only four members of that body to endorse then-Governor Reagan’s primary challenge to President Gerald Ford. I had the privilege of serving as the leader of President Reagan’s Texas delegation at the Republican convention of 1976, where Ronald Reagan almost defeated an incumbent president for his party’s nomination. I was one of the millions attracted to Ronald Reagan by his strong support for limited government and the free-market. I felt affinity for a politician who based his conservative philosophy on '...a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom.' I wish more of today’s conservative leaders based their philosophy on a desire for less government and more freedom." – Ron Paul, Remembering Ronald Reagan

In 2008, I'm voting for the REAGAN REPUBLICAN.
I'm voting for former Vietnam Combat Flight
Surgeon, and Leader of Ronald Reagan's
Electoral Delegation from Texas: In 2008,
I'm Voting for RON PAUL!
"The greatest champion of conservative principles we have seen in Congress in the past quarter century."

Ron Paul's position on the War on Terror and his votes WITH the Democrats to cut and run disqualify him. I support Paul on almost every other issue and have long respected him. But he doesn't understand the threat posed by Islamofascism against the United States. That's a showstopper.

Ron Paul is a danger to the Republic. Whatever you think of his domestic policies, his foreign policies are dangerous.

Anybody but Fred Rudy McRomney. America needs someone who puts American citizens first.

Winning with a globalist RINO is a sure way for America to lose.

5. Mitt Romney wants to be President. Ron Paul doesn’t.

LOL! Yes, THAT will make him a good candidate.

Will you willingly fly into a severe storm on a plane piloted by man who never wanted to be a pilot? Of course not, only a fool would do so.

He is opposed to the “Federal Reserve” and knows exactly how to fix our economy.

Horrible idea. Absolutely horrible. Another reason why I would vote against Rep. Paul. The policies of the Fed are the main reason why the United States has been in an economic expansion almost continuously since Reagan. If it weren't for the Fed, 9/11 would have caused a depression rather than a recession.

Romney is my #2 choice, for the same reason Giuliani is my #1 choice. Romney has executive experience, and knows how to turn a failing enterprise around. Right now, we are in serious danger of losing the Iraq war. Everything else is secondary to that issue.

This article is such a waste of kilobtyes. Neither Ron Paul nor Mitt Romney have a chance at becoming the GOP nominee.

Because Romney is a statist and Ron Paul isn't? That's the reason I'm voting for Paul.

I don't know. It sounds to me like Connor and Ron live in a fantasy world, where one has only to want things to make them happen.

It's not a good idea for politicians to think like surgeons, who need only make the right cuts to restore health. Politics isn't like that.

For starters, you can't always make those cuts. Beyond that, it's not easy to tell what the effects will be.

Mitt Romney wants to be President. Ron Paul doesn’t.

If Ron Paul doesn't want to be President, then it doesn't seem like a good idea to vote for him. He'd just refuse the nomination.

This Ron Paul?

Dr. Ron Paul, Texas Congressman exploring a run for President, appeared on The Alex Jones Show Wednesday [MP3 link] and had the following to say about 9/11:

"CALLER: I want a complete, impartial, and totally independent investigation of the events of September 11, 2001 . I'm tired of this bogus garbage about terrorism. Ask Michael Meacher about how he feels about this bogus war on terrorism. Can you comment on that please?

HON. DR. RON PAUL: Well, that would be nice to have. Unfortunately, we don't have that in place. It will be a little bit better now with the Democrats now in charge of oversight. But you know, for top level policy there's not a whole lot of difference between the two policies so a real investigation isn't going to happen. But I think we have to keep pushing for it. And like you and others, we see the investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on.

JACK BLOOD, GUEST HOST: I think it's fair to say that of all the candidates out there, the one most interested in reopening the investigation and clearing the questions is Dr. Paul; and you should be commended for that.
