Florida ping?
Dems raise taxes? Say it ain't so!
Well, that's what dems do: surrender as quickly as possible to whatever enemy America has, and raise taxes.
"...while cutting taxes for commercial property and second-home owners."
What! Tax cuts for the RICH!!! I can't believe it!
They are complete morons, no doubt about it. When I first saw the articles relating to property tax elimination by the pubs, I thought "no way will the dims go for this". Sure enough, out comes the class warfare card, as if it's the wealthy being taxed out of their houses by the carnivorous bureacracy. One local mayor threatened a "hiring freeze" at city hall. Like that was a bad thing.
Elimination of property tax is a brilliant idea and consistent with other tax free items like food and clothing.
I don't have much hope for it though. The same people who voted in the party endorsed by those sworn to kill us all are likely to reject any plan that actually makes their homes their own.
