Have the doctors said whether delaying the surgery will do any harm to the bones? I would imagine they want to do it as quickly as they can after they get his digestive problems solved.

They do not seem to be concerned on that score which in a way surprises me but seem to want to make sure that he is fit for surgery which at present the anesthetist was adamant that he was not.

They told me when I asked last that a week or so delay for surgery would not have any adverse affect
