The situation re the Griffith Park fire seems to have abated. There was no more tower of smoke when I came out of work circa 5:45. And, I'm far enough west, didn't even smell the smoke. It all drifted east and was lying low over downtown.
I couldn't see much difference in the demand at OUR emergency room, but maybe some others closer to the fire have asthma cases, etc. I'm waiting now for KCAL9 news, but the ballgame is on.... "freeway series," Dodgers ahead 5 nuthin'...:)
The arson perps are in custody...:(
