The link I provided for you was not the NTSB report. It was a copy of CIA correspondence and a transcript of an interview with CIA investigators.

Blow some more smoke, why don't you?

The link you provided was to an Appendix included with the NTSB report, rather than the whole report itself. As far as I am concerned this is a distinction without a difference. For you it is apparently a major concern.

I'll let the Peanut Gallery decide. In fact, I continue now only for the benefit of the Peanut Gallery as you apparently have swallowed so much Clinton/Kallstrom Kool-aid that you have rendered yourself hopeless.

Peanut Gallery, please consider this statement:

First, yes I believe TWA 800 climbed after the initial explosion.
(He bahleeves! He bahleeves! Glory, Hallelujah!) One of the things every pilot learns to do is to judge whether other planes that the pilot sees are below, above, or at nearly the same altitude as his altitude. So here was Capt. David McClaine, whom I spoke with more than a year before the NTSB got around to interviewing him, flying 15 miles away from TWA 800, opposite direction, staring (because he was waiting to be clear of it so he could get the direct TTN routing from ATC that he was requesting) at TWA 800 when it exploded. David McClaine says that TWA 800 did not climb at all. The CIA cartoon has TWA 800 climbing from well below McClaine's altitude to an altitude above ~10,000 hour pilot McClaine. But Honourable AF Pilot Rokke who was not in the air, or at least not in the air anywhere close to TWA 800 that he is talking about, knows better than David McClaine. What chutzpah!

"Blow some more smoke, why don't you?"

In my last post to you I asked you a very simple question. I'll repeat it for you here..."I ask you to answer the following honestly...did you read the document at the link I provided for you?" You won't even answer that very simple question, yet you accuse me of blowing smoke. The NTSB report includes many Appendix's including one I'll link below. Many of these Appendix's are merely copies of reports they received during their investigation. They neither wrote them nor commented on them. The appendix I linked you to was a copy of correspondence from the CIA and a transcript of the CIA interview with the TWA 800 Witness Group which included representatives from Boeing, TWA and ALPA. It is clear, factual information. Yet you won't even read it. And that is very typical of conspiracy advocates. They don't want to know facts. They simply want to create their own reality.

"I'll let the Peanut Gallery decide."

Ah yes. The mythical peanut gallery. Another common trait of conspiracy advocates. Ignore the real world (the person you are actually corresponding with) and speak to the great unseen masses.

"Please consider this statement:"

Yes, please do. You asked me (and I quote...) "I asked you if you believed the plane soared upwards as depicted in the video." Unlike you, I responded directly to the question you asked with the following..."First, yes I believe TWA 800 climbed after the initial explosion." To which you launch into some strange commentary on the word "believed". Apparently it floated right over your head, but I was simply responding to the question you asked.

"One of the things every pilot learns to do is to judge whether other planes that the pilot sees are below, above, or at nearly the same altitude as his altitude."

And you clearly are not an experienced pilot. If you were, you would know no pilot ever depends solely on his eyeballs to determine another aircraft's altitude. Especially at night when all you can see is a single point of light. Now, since I know you never would do such a thing, I am going to link the actual witness statement from David McClaine, that he prepared the very day he witnessed TWA 800 explode. Now, the link is another NTSB Appendix, so you will no doubt hide from it, but the simple fact is, it is an actually copy of McClaine's witness statement. If the NTSB didn't include it, conspiracy nuts would claim they were hiding it. So here it is...

INTERVIEW TRANSCRIPT CAPT. DAVID McCLAINE MARCH 25, 1999

If you weren't afraid to read it, you would note McClaine gives an estimate of TWA 800's altitude at between 15,000 and 13,000 ft MSL. Note the 2000' spread. That is because he is well aware he is unable to assess TWA 800's altitude more accurately. Especially considering he was between 15 and 19 miles away. When he made that assessment, he was in a descent through 17,000' to 16,000'. According to the NTSB, TWA 800 climbed to an altitude of between 15,500 and 16,700 before descending. No where in his statement does he state whether the TWA 800 was climbing or descending. He does, however, say the following (and I quote)..."Prior to the explosion I did not see any missile, air to air or ground to air, as I have seen in the press. I did mention this to my F/O just after the explosion. 1 still think it was a landing light 1 saw that was ON the other the aircrafl.(TWA 800) but can’t rule our that it may have been an engine or wing fire due to the color of the light and its brightness. I’m not that familiar with a B-747 landing lights."

So thanks for bringing up McClaine. He does a good job of shooting holes in the conspiracy nut case. And as I said previously, you can continue to focus on the CIA "cartoon" all you want. It only proves your lack of understanding of the whole TWA 800 investigation.
