One prime time speech and a full-court press after a public veto of this horrendous bill and the RATS will quickly succumb. And they are going to infuriate their base in the process.

Sounds real good, but he can't FORCE the networks to carry his speech. They can choose to ignore him, as they have tried to do for the last 6 years.

We can spread the word, based on the speeches we read. If someone says they never heard him say that, just tell them that's because the networks refuse to carry his speeches, then tell them where YOU read what he said. That might get a few more people exploring the alternative media, and have their eyes opened.

Well, there are usually about 37% who will regularly vote Republican, however that number will be diminished by two when SirKit and I move back home to MS later this year. Then, we'll finally be living again in a state in which the majority shares OUR views on politics!

Yeah, well, we've been in MA for 19 years and that's quite long enough, thank you very much!

It must be a family thing, I swear. Their Moms and Dads, Grandmothers and Grandads all voted Democrat, so it must be ok to do. Even people who otherwise consider themselves moderate to conservative don't see any problem voting for Democrats. They've just come to believe the lie that Republicans don't care about poor people, only Democrats do.

I really confounded the young man who had done the gut-rehab on the condo that our #1 son bought last year. We were chatting about various and sundry things, and at one point, he looked at me and said, "You know, I'm really surprised. You're a Republican, but you sound so compassionate for those who are less fortunate." I told him not to believe everything the media says about Republicans because it's almost ALWAYS a lie, especially if he reads it in the NYT or the Boston Glob.
