A 3 way [eewwwww] with Hillary, Gore, and a real conservative would have Hillary dancing in circles, trying to appeal to the liberal wing while trying to convence the moderate/conservative wing that she is on their side.

Let the GOP seem to be going for a conservative and let Bloomberg go 3rd (actually 4th) party and draw the big-business-country-club votes, then a true conservative could win in 08.

If Gore does try a 3rd party, it could really mess up the Dems.

A real fantasy scenario would be if Giuliani captures the GOP nomination, Hillary is the Democratic nominee, Gore runs on the Green Party ticket, and New York mayor Michael Bloomberg runs as an independent. That would allow for a four way split of the center to left vote. Then an independent conservative could win with even as little as 25% of the national vote.

This sounds too good to be true, but is not implausible. If Gore does enter the race as the Green candidate and if Bloomberg decides to run as well, the best strategy for conservatives would be to stand clear of Giuliani, who seems to have the momentum for the nomination, as well as the big money and big names. Let the RINOs take over the GOP at the national level, and conservative resources will not be spent in what may be a futile attempt to derail the Giuliani express.

This could be an epiphany for our republic and the rebirth of the old America of our founding era.
