Just a question...are Muslim women allowed to smoke? I found it quite odd to see her puffing away with the kerchief on her head.
I would guess tobacco consumtion in general is fairly high in muslim countries, as they are in other third world countries. The more hardcore jihadist factions are, however, less forgiving.

Another shrewd PR move by the Iranians -- aimed solely at the West. Think about it: smoking, to the PC crowd, makes you a villain or a lowlife -- why only villains or lowlifes smoke in movies now, have you noticed?

The smoking was to make her appear inferior. Muslim woman cannot smoke in public. That would be shoddy and whore-like.
