Y A W N !
We've all changed our view on illegal immigration since Reagan and Bubba gave amnesty to millions only to see multi-millions continue to cross the border. I prefer to read Rudy Giuliani's CURRENT IDEA'S ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION AND HOW WE CAN DEAL WITH IT. Try it, you might learn something.

He want to give illegals amnesty.
So tell me again why you support this guy who doesn't want to learn from past mistakes.

I prefer to read Rudy Giuliani's CURRENT IDEA'S ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION AND HOW WE CAN DEAL WITH IT. Try it, you might learn something. I'm surprised...yet not, sadly. His consistency on these ideas lends more credence to the idea that he's pandering. I thought pandering for votes was bad...guess not. After all, it's Rudy.
"Thomas Jefferson once said, 'We should never judge a president by his age, only by his works.' And ever since he told me that, I stopped worrying." -Ronald Reagan 40th president of US (1911 - 2004)
I think Reagan was a great president, but he wasn't perfect. Amnesty is one of the things that did not work out.

True. And I agree that Reagan was a great President, I voted for him twice. But he was dead wrong on amnesty, just as Clinton was and just as Bush would be is he had his way.

?!?!?
First, you post...
And just now...
True. And I agree that Reagan was a great President, I voted for him twice. But he was dead wrong on amnesty, just as Clinton was and just as Bush would be is he had his way.
And yet Giuliani's view on illegal immigration is somehow still okay? Make up your mind.

"We've all changed our view on illegal immigration ...." "Try it, you might learn something."Nice knee jerk reaction. But if you had taken the time to research instead of just drinking down the kool-aid, you'd know that Rudy's position hasn't changed noticably.
And you wonder why people use the term Rudy-bot?

I posted Rudy's opinions and stand on Illegal ImmigrationYou did nothing of the sort on this thread. It was pointed out to you repeatedly that Rudy favors shamnesty. If you had any values to back up your statements, you might re-access your support for Rudy. Apparently, you don't.

Rudy ping.
If you truly think your candidate is worth supporting, then at least have the convinction to come here and try and defend him, or at least refute the information within (if you can).
Ping your list while you're at it.

So how can we believe his "current ideas" mean anything. How can we know he isn't just pandering to us to get elected? Saying anything that works to his favor? This is my problem with Rudy and Mitt. TRUST. I don't have it for them. And they are not alone. McCain is not in the equation.
My views have never changed about illegal aliens and amnesty. Regan was wrong and I said so then. Bubba was a grifter so he doesn't count, but he was wrong too. Heck, I was even against Teddy's immigration plan in the late sixties. Try thinking a position through you might get principled. So...YAWN BACK AT YA!

This is about the 2nd or 3rd time I've posted this. Now you'll say I'm spamming. lol Published Saturday, March 24, 2007 10:02 PM PDT News Giuliani campaigns in Newport Beach Former N.Y. mayor slams Democrats and outlines his positions at a fundraiser on Saturday. By Amanda Pennington and Alicia Robinson NEWPORT BEACH Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani led off with his strongest card, his terrorism-fighting credentials, before touching on healthcare, immigration and energy policy in a speech to a welcoming crowd Saturday. "Sept. 11, 2001, taught me and I believe it taught a lot of people, including President Bush that we have to remain on offense," Giuliani said. "That means that we have to use our military. We can't show weakness." His visit is expected to be one in long string of appearances in California as he seeks the GOP presidential nomination. Giuliani seemed to hit all the right notes Saturday, getting applause when he criticized Democrats' stance on healthcare and advocated vouchers for schools. Giuliani spoke to about 465 people at a fundraiser hosted by Rep. Ed Royce (R-Fullerton) at the Island Hotel. On immigration, he told reporters he doesn't support amnesty for illegal immigrants, but he could support a guest worker program if there were adequate border security and tamper-proof ID cards. He said that even if illegal immigrants "can demonstrate that they are lawful, that they are paying taxes [and] that they'll pay penalties," they still shouldn't be put ahead of people who go through legal channels. "And citizenship here, if it's earned, should be premised on being able to read and write English and understand American history, so we restore assimilation to the process of immigration," he said.
