We've all changed our view on illegal immigration since Reagan and Bubba gave amnesty to millions only to see multi-millions continue to cross the border. I prefer to read Rudy Giuliani's CURRENT IDEA'S ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION AND HOW WE CAN DEAL WITH IT. Try it, you might learn something.

I'm surprised...yet not, sadly. His consistency on these ideas lends more credence to the idea that he's pandering. I thought pandering for votes was bad...guess not. After all, it's Rudy.

"Thomas Jefferson once said, 'We should never judge a president by his age, only by his works.' And ever since he told me that, I stopped worrying." -Ronald Reagan 40th president of US (1911 - 2004)

I think Reagan was a great president, but he wasn't perfect. Amnesty is one of the things that did not work out.

"I have long since come to believe that people never mean half of what they say, and that it is best to disregard their talk and judge only their actions." -Dorothy Day (1897 - 1980), The Long Loneliness, 1952

"I'm not judging people, I'm judging their actions. It's the same type of distinction that I try to apply to myself, to judge, but not be judgmental." -Jeff Melvoin, Northern Exposure, Crime and Punishment, 1992

True. And I agree that Reagan was a great President, I voted for him twice. But he was dead wrong on amnesty, just as Clinton was and just as Bush would be is he had his way.
