This is a hell of a lot closer to the center of Paris than the previous riots.....
I've been there. Glad I'm not now!
go frenchies, go frenchies, burn it down, burn it down.
Here we go - - - nothing draws tourists like rampaging Muslim youths in Paris in the spring - - -
The "youths" must have heard there were cars in Paris to burn.

AP stories about riots in France are like AP stories about crimes by Democrat politicians. The obvious often goes unsaid.

I'm surprised Looter Guy isn't there. Just "onlookers" and "youth". You can figure out the code.
Aw com'on, this was just a bunch of anarchists from Eugene getting a little French culture and some practice breaking stuff!
"It doesn't say they were Muslim. Any bets they were?"
I just read this on Foxnews:
"Youths at the station said Tuesday's clashes started when police manhandled a young person of North African origin...
[Commuter Cyril]Zidou said 'the violence had echoes of the riots in 2005. They never finished,' he said. 'It slowed down a bit, but it was never over.' "
And that, I believe, answers your question.

French TV didn't mention that the man who started it all was of North African origin.
Sounds like it is Spring 'Break' time again in France. Hopefully it will remind the public why they should vote for Sarkozy.
Sarko stepped down from his post as Interior Minister on Monday. This is exactly the kind of event that can turn an election.
The Police, afraid of the repurcussions for dealing harshly with the offending "yoots", will send a strong message to the French people.
Paris is a magnificent city, the most beautiful city in the world. To allow these vandals and barbarians to destroy the quality of life for decent hardworking people creates a situation that demands a strong Law and Order response.
A looted Foot Locker store.
Yesterday I posted a pic from a French newspaper that chose to blur the faces of the mob.
Perhaps France has a law against showing the faces of rioters?
