God Bless and help him. He is an honest journalist.
I'm so very sorry about this diagnosis. The good Lord will watch over you, Tony and your family.
I will say a prayer for all of you. May God bless all of you, and your medical team.
This sucks.
This is so sad and my prayers go up for you . My neice, a mother of 4 boys, was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer and just finished her chemical and radiation therapy. She will have surgery in a few weeks. When I heard the news about Tony Snow, my heart sank!
EXACTLY. There are new ways to beat this, and they are learning every day. I know Tony will get the best medical care possible and I know he has the most positive, G-d-fearing outlook on life, and he can beat this. I was appalled to hear today on one major radio station's news some journalist talking about this "great loss." HELLOOOOOO!? Tony is still HERE!!! Prove 'em wrong, Mr. Snow! Like Mark Twain! Like Bob Hope! LOL. Two people who read their own obits in the news! Good L-rd! LOL.
Hepatic Artery Embolization is a promising new therapy for cancers in the liver wherein an IV is inserted directly into the hepatic artery and injects microscopic "balls" that block the flow of blood into the microvessels that grow in response to angiogenic stimulants secreted from the tumor. Even better is when these are coated with radioactive material which will actively kill the tumor cells as well as strangling their blood flow. This technique is effective because hepatic tumors generally stick close to this. Whether this treatment is confined to primary liver cancer or applicable in metastatic cases like this one I do not know.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Tony, his family, and his friends.
Oddly, my Dad's was primary liver adenocarcinoma (bile ducts). His was very large when it was discovered...experimental chemo was the only option presented.
It sounds like Tony's cancer is much smaller..hopefully it can be managed with some of the newer, promising treatments.
Major prayers for Tony and his family for a good outcome!
Fight the good fight, Tony. Know you will as you have logical and positive mind-think. You have been presented with a rather lousy problem that needs solving, so now you will be doing all that is necessary to make the problem go away, or at least hold it in abeyance. I have firm faith in you and earnest prayers for you and your family. Besides which, you've got to get back up on that press podium ASAP. To me you have been the best Press Secretary in years and years and years. Hands down.
I pray that the Lord will help him.
I am praying very hard for Tony. God please deliver him from cancer and restore to him the health and vigor of his youth. Amen.
Prayers up. Was reading this morning that Tony still has treatable options.
Know that my thoughts also go to Tony's whole radio family.
I know if hurts like the dickens and I just know him through the threads of his show and the radio.
Prayers offered to the whole Tony Snow family.
SNOQ
From Fox & Friends this morning...emails can be sent to friends@foxnews.com and they will be forwarded to Tony.
Prayers for a good man and his family.
My brother interned with him and he attended my brother's wedding so I got to meet him a few years ago. Very nice man.
And on a side note if you want to know the difference between conservatives and liberals compare our reactions (yes there were some bozos but 99 percent supportive) to the Elizabeth Edwards news to the reaction at DU over this.
I heard Brit Hume on Laura Ingraham this morning. Brit said he talked to Tony last night and he sounded great. He said Tony is a born optimist, has always been and is ready to fight. Apparently he has been contacted by NIH and a group in Texas; he is going to have the very best expert care.
Most of us have family/friends who had/have cancer and are famiiar with their cases, sometimes very close-up. But no one's success or failure with treatment has anything to do with Tony. He is an individual and no human can predict with certainty how he will react to any treatment and it's foolish to speculate. Tony's outlook is positive; hopefully we can all try to follow him and leave the diagnosis and treatment to his doctors.
prayers for you Tony Snow and your fine family. Thank you for being an example of what we each are supposed to be in public and private.
Prayers for Tony and his loved ones.
It's also important to note that a lot of incorrect information has been written about Tony's cancer.
I read today at

I haven't seen it anywhere else but it sure encouraged me.
Sorry about your husband but this is ON Tony's liver, not IN it.
