Absolutely not, when I stated he had lost the fire, I meant only in his public appearances, and not what he was doing behind the scene. I Thank God everyday that President Bush has been the President for the past 6 years. I just wish he would articulate his fight better. Those speeches immediately after 9/11 were historic. I don't see those anymore. That was all I meant. I think that Rudy is the leader that could bring back that feeling for me.
I am only upset at all the negative comments about the President. He's been steadfast. He just keeps on keeping on. If he allowed the spenders to get their way, it also kept the money coming for the war.
Now we have the unappeasables to thank for the added burden for our President and our troops.
I love Rudy. We were the benficiary of his leadership in NY.......before 9/11! All those eight years before when he just kept on doing the right thing. Rarely fought back, simply did what had to be done while the media eviscerated him at every turn.
I think he has the guts to do it all again.
