There is no excuse for rape

On March 7th Marines were attacked in Afghanistan while in a convoy, they responded and civilians were killed. To pull these Marines out of country as they did pretty much condemns them for their actions.
There was a suicide bomber one Marine died and small arms fire came from various directions, I guess they should have done the British thing and given up.
I have lost faith in our leadership to lead us in war. You ask someone to fight and then you condemn them. I can't tell my son what to do, but if it were me I'd be looking for a way out.

I am in agreement with you.

When a pilot is called to drop a bomb, they dont try to convict him of murder because a civilian got killed in the explosion. So why do they keep trying to convict a foot soldier when civilians get in the way.

I still say there is no excuse for rape. If as charged an American soldier raped a woman he should go to prison for it. Killing a civilian by accident or simply becasue that civilian was in the wrong place at the wrong time is one thing, raping is entirely different.
