The Mayor of the city of New york typically is allocated time on the local radio stations to speak to the public. This appears to be one of those broadcasts in which he defends his lawsuit against gun companies using "Economics 101". As is typical of liberals, he has made an incorrect base assumption and that is that "hunting" and "Law enforcement" are the only "authorized" uses of guns.

Well... better you hear it from him than me...

No need to go back to his mayoral days -- Rudy made a similar claim just a few weeks ago in an interview on H&C. His misunderstanding of the 2A is profound.

This video is a must see. The caller asks Giuliani a perfectly reasonable question, "they produce a legal product, they're selling it legally..."

Giuliani says they've been "negligent" but at the same time doesn't say they (the gun manufacturers) committed a crime. So the caller asks him why he's suing them. Rudy says that negligence is "an actionable tort....they've acted 'negligently' by overproducing guns." (Rudy also is stuttering & lisping a lot) Rudy also tries to explain it in the economic sense.

This video should be mandatory viewing for all gun owners and gun groups and played over and over again in the GOP primaries. Rudy is incapable of comprehending something as basic as our 2nd Amendment rights. How can we trust him on the WOT and other issues then?
