I don't think Rudy is an ANSWER mover and shaker, and I don't think his "position" with Stonewall will derail his candidacy. When the author notes that his enemies caricature him as a divorce-driven, abortion-peddling, gun-grabbing transvestite she's right. And he'll successfully rise above that caricature. He's vulnerable on the issues, and at this point that's where he should be attacked.
