Hopefully even W is starting to get it now. The Dems are not there to get things done, they are there to persecute Bush, prevent Republicans from getting re-elected, raise money for themselves, and push grievance group agendas.

I am listening to the interview with the Edwards' on 60 Minutes (radio)

When Katie Couric asks the two of them about the kids..and shouldn't they be considered about this..

BOTH of them said that the best thing to give kids is "wings to fly on their own"...when Katie pointed out that they are only 6 and 8..."baby birds"...John said "well they gotta learn to fly sometime"!!!


I bet this interview is NOT going to go over well...except with LIBS and NOW and the MSM...

never mind...they will be FETTED!!!

Actually, there WERE blinders going on in the intelligence community, like there were blinders (assumptions made, alternative views discarded) at various other points where bad intelligence allowed crises to happen. Group think, which reinforces things, is a danger in situations like this, but it is a bear of a thing to circumvent and prevent, which is why it happens over and over...

Thanks for letting us know about that. I have to be honest and say that I didn't follow that story.

I can surely see the twisted way that libs see things...but, since they are so intractable...I see danger in our future more every day.

When Katie kept pushing them about the decision to spend time with the family, given her prognosis, as opposed to traveling all over campaigning...

John said that campaigning isn't "work" it is service to the country..so it isn't like he is putting work before family...and he said that "no one knows the future"...

They both pretty much said that since no one knows how long they have to live...even though Elizabeth has been given more of a "time frame" than most....that it shouldn't affect their lives.

I have to say that Katie pushed them more than I thought she would...but, I didn't hear the first few minutes of the interview.

BTW..for those interested the story after the Edwards' story is about a British muslim who changes his mind about "jihad" after the bombing of the trains in London a few years ago....

This is a very scary situation for those kids, and judging by those comments they sound like they are both off their rockers. It sounds like they need to stay out of the limelight and go away on a Vacation with the Children to think about what they are doing. They sound like they are in serious denial, and maybe the DBM is creating or at least escalating the problems that they have handling this right now. They are "on" for the Camera, but what happens when the Camera is no longer on them? In their solitary moments, they must realize that the DBM is exploiting them and their Kids. This is one big "YUK".

Well, I wonder if Katie pushed harder because her Husband died of Colon Cancer when her kids were pretty Young. Having experienced the trauma that she and her kids went through when he was only in his forties. She might just be giving them a few things to ponder from experience. I think we are watching Television and the DBM at their very craven worst.

Those children were "planned" for personal reasons [I think as props - call me a cynic] - more than just 'coming into our lives' as nature has intended for millenia.

I wonder if both parents aren't thinking about the medications that Elizibeth had to take to trick mother nature and their possible effect on her becoming afflicted with breast cancer. I bet there are a whole lot of negative vibes emanating from both parents regarding those kids about now. Edwards. Those remarks about learning to fly are amazingly callous.

I will never forget her put down of Lynne and Dick Cheney in 2004...and although I can't remember specifics, there were other samples of what a witch she could be.

I have heard Tom Delay on several occasions...I have heard him say that Hillary will win...UNLESS.

Well...I say to HIM...get out there and recruit...tell us what we need to do...but for heaven sake, don't make a habit of going on Chrissy Matthews' show and bash Bush all of the time.

He has a habit of doing that...and it really ticks me off. He is the first to say that Bush isn't running in 2008...BUT, we all know that the dems will be running against Prs. Bush...so any unnecessary, gratutious Bush bashing will NOT get the constituents anxious to jump on his bandwagon....IMHO>
