I am not surprised, my only surprise is that it took them this long. Obviously there was not enough quality control somewhere, but by the time this is going to trial they will have dragged millions of people not even involved or effected by the matter into the Class Action Law Suit. They know that a Jury is not going to look into the minutiae.

Because something is different is does not make it wrong. The words are not synonymous.

This is a similar problem I run into in business all the time. There seems to be this strange notion with the Baby Boomer Generation that doing something different is "doing it wrong. This seems to be the whole problem with our current political leadership.

There seems to be an inability or unwillingness to consider the way they have always conducted International Relations has not worked and they should be considering alternative strategies and options.

South Florida is now Little South America. Problem is most of them come from socialist countries and that's not helping matters one bit.

You know one of the things I hear from people these days is utter bewilderment of what the Democrat Congressional Leadership thinks it is accomplishing with it active assistance to Al Qeda. They wonder if the Democrats don't understand they are actively siding with the enemies of everything they CLAIM to believe in.

The fact is the Democrat leadership simply does not care.

Victory in Iraq would demonstrate conclusively that the Democrat Leadership, the left over remnants of the 1960s Radical "Anti War" movement, have been wrong their whole political lives. They were wrong to oppose Vietnam in their youth, wrong to oppose Reagan defeat of the Soviet Union, wrong to oppose this war.

Their whole lives have been a reckless exercise in self absorbed arrogance and hubris. They have spent their entire lives screaming simplistic silly slogans about how they feel the world should work. The victory being achieved in Iraq right now proves them wrong. Wrong to have opposed Vietnam and wrong in everything since then.

Conceding victory on Iraq to Bush and the Republicans would require the Democrats to admit their whole view on how to conduct International Relations is wrong and has always been wrong. Rather then EVER admit to being wrong on anything the titanic egos that run the Democrat Congress will do everything in their power to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

We used to clothespin baseball cards on the front spokes of our bicycles to quench our machismo-envy of our older brothers driving cars.

We've all heard digital recordings of (expensive) SLR camera noises be played back on most digital cameras to satisfy people's auditory needs associated with pushing the shoot button.

The OSHA rules requiring vehicles in reverse gear to emit piercing, 100dB warnings at 1-second intervals can easily be expanded, you know.

Even though engine noises technically only correlate to vehicular speed through the transforming filter of a gearbox, I suspect the coming auditory-emission requirements for electric and other noiseless vehicles will artificially correlate directly to speed.

The irony would be that reinforced baseball cards and clothespins could possibly handle this concern, but we have to acquiesce to the fact that government employees will surely be involved. That means their brainstorming list will include a possible requirement for the driver to motorboat with his lips while driving. That will be nixed by the supervisor explaining that it would create too much of a mess on the insides of windshields.

It would be elegant if only such speed-related noises were only blue-tooth emitting, mercifully sparing the rest of us from increased noise pollution, but don't count on it. One has to recognize that blindness often goes hand-in-glove with at least partial deafness, so listen (and look) for the piercing, OSHA mandated version of this solution: 2Hz, ear-splitting, 100dB noises when such vehicles are in forward motion.

Hannity and Colmes has some guy on their show the other night..that said he was an Iraqi war vet.

He called Duncan Hunter a liar..and said that the supplies for the military..the armor and other things, have gone DOWN in the Bush presidency..and that Duncan Hunter was one of the reasons.

It was a disgusting display of BDS being used by a Iraq war vet(who no doubt got his talking points from Soros).

So, what did I miss?

I had an unexpected visitor who insisted on taking me to lunch. I took me more time than normal to make her angry and go away, but its a good thing, because tonight is the season finale of Battlestar Gallactica, and I dont need any female distraction, dammit.

...because they are so quiet, blind people can't hear them when they try to cross a street.

You would think that the ego from the driver would stink from miles away.....
