Former congressman backs Giuliani (N.H)
Manchester Union-Leader ^ | Mar. 23, 2007 | JOHN DISTASO

Posted on 03/24/2007 1:03:12 PM PDT by veronica

Former U.S. Rep. Bill Zeliff is joining Rudy Giuliani’s presidential campaign.

A source in the campaign told UnionLeader.com that the former Jackson innkeeper “will help with federal and New Hampshire issues as an adviser and will help raise money in Washington, D.C.”

Zeliff, a Republican, was first elected to New Hampshire’s 1st District U.S. House seat in 1990. He left the House after three terms and ran unsuccessfully for the GOP nomination for governor in 1996.

Zeliff has been a Washington lobbyist for the past 10 years, currently employed by The Livingston Group, headed by former Republican Rep. Bob Livingston of Lousiana.

You hate Rudy. I hate the terrorists.

Which do you think is a bigger threat to our freedom and security: terrorism, or open borders and unconstitutional laws and government appropriation of power?

When this country is no longer "American," and its government is no longer "Constitutional," what will you have then?

Be careful what you do with that pent up anger toward terrorism. Don't let it cloud your civic duty to defend our original principles. Those principles are the best defense against any enemy, either foreign or domestic. And a great power like ours can only be brought down from the inside.

In this time after 9/11 we must think of the Bill of Rights and what it means to us more than ever.

No, Cunningham is Hunter's guy. They're close friends.

Rudy is delighted instead to receive the endorsement of Rep. Pete Sessions who have a lifetime conservative rating of 97%.

Former U.S. Rep. Bill Zeliff

Gee, THAT seals the deal for me. I'm for rudy 100% now. /sarc

Most people know "Fire Marshall Bill" and "Mr. Bill", but they don't know JACK SQUAT about a no-name congressman, ESPECIALLY a FORMER no-name congressman.

Why do drooling, breathless & panting, bed-wetting liberal RINO-rudy-rooters continously post this tripe?

Veronica,

Does DH have a chance to win?

Probably not if Thompson enters the race.

What I find bizarre is that so many rinos have thrown their hat in the ring.

"improper or wicked or immoral behavior"

You said it -- Rudy running around in public with his mistress while his wife (#2) was at home with the kids. Improper, wicked and immoral behavior.

I wonder what Duncan Hunter would think of the nastiness of his supporters here. I doubt he'd approve.

currently employed by The Livingston Group, headed by former Republican Rep. Bob Livingston of Lousiana.

Bob Livingston, an adulterer who resigned from Congress in disgrace. No surprise there.

The creator of this CONSERVATIVE website is adamantly opposed to Rudy.

Now go ahead and flame Jim Robinson.

The picture you posted of a guy in drag isn't Rudy.

I wonder what Duncan Hunter would think of the limp-wristed liberals running as republicans. I doubt he'd approve.

I guess you prefer a serial adulterer who didn't resign as First Man.

(He's never been divorced, either...)

I know Jim does not support Rudy.

He does appear however to allow pro-Rudy posters to post here.

Though I support Rudy I am not on a jihad against the other guys in the race. I try to act like an adult.

Rudy was estranged from Donna for years before he even met Judith.

Backwards. The Rudy apologists are into defending adultery and low moral character, claiming it doesn't matter. Just like the Clinton defenders of old.

We're not saying adultery doesn't matter. We are saying, however, that there is a difference when a man like Rudy has been estranged for years and finally meets someone.

Estranged? What disingenuous spin.

Paging Bill Clinton.

FYI - there are CONSERVATIVES who support Rudy, and who were supporting the CONSERVATIVE movement before FR existed.

You don't own the Conservative movement. That may come as a shock to you. :)

"Rudy was estranged from Donna for years before he even met Judith."

BS alert! If they were "estranged" then why was she living with him in the mayor's mansion? LOL!
