SO YOU JUST JOINED UP TODAY SO YOU COULD SMEAR THE GOOD NAME OF THE CROUCHS AND THE COPELANDS .. ROTFLOL!!

Save your breath .. GOD doesn't care what you think of them.

Paul CHOSE his lifestyle. A lifestyle self-imposed is not the precursor OR THE RULE of how EVERYBODY SHOULD LIVE.

Paul said, "... everything is dung in comparison to what I have received in CHRIST". Paul's lifestyle was modest because he felt called to live that way. Paul never demanded that people live as he did or else they could not claim holiness or salvation, and God doesn't demand that of anyone either.

Paul lived and led people they way Lord Jesus Himself did-- they led by example. They showed people how to live by actually living that way.

When Lord Jesus died, he had his robe, and that was it. When He wanted to teach people about paying their taxes, He said- "Show me a penny..." He didn't even carry a penny with him, and had to borrow one for His lesson.

That's the kind of man I want to be like. That's the type of man I want to follow, a man who is so close to God, that he doesn't value the things of the world. I don't want to follow a man or woman who wears $1000 suits paid for by old ladies on social security, or drive BMW's paid for by someone who had good intentions, in the name of God. Whenever God's name comes into the mix, you have to hold yourself to a higher standard, and you have to sacrifice and give no one the opportunity to question your motives. These people put wealth first, not Lord Jesus.

Seriously, have you looked at the set for TBN lately, with it's gold thrones and art and thick carpet and so forth? The alligator skin boots and jewelry and so forth? What are they teaching people to value? Jesus? Or wealth?

I'm not smearing Christians- far from it, it is they who smear and malign the good name of Christ. Jesus spoke of men and women like this when He said they would call Him- "Lord, Lord", but He will reply "away with you- I never knew you." They aren't His to begin with. Jesus said if you want to be great in heaven, you must be least among men. Are they least among us? No, they are great. Jesus is no liar. What will be their lot and their judgment?

The Crouches have a good name? LOL

I have seen Paul and Co. beg for money, telling folks watching at home that "even if you can't afford $20 or 15$ send it anyway, find a way!"

These con men beg people that need that $20 to buy groceries to feed their families or help pay the utilities. Poor people, not welfare abusers but actual poor people that have no income to spare. Disgusting.

Also, where in the Bible does it ever talk about "seed money" or explain that sowing seed equates to sending money? I have not read the Bible cover to cover so I may have missed it. But, the parts I have read equate "sowing a seed" to just talking to someone about God or proselytizing.

The parable of the sower explained:

19When any one heareth the Word of the Kingdom and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he that received seed by the wayside.

20But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the Word and at once with joy receiveth it;

21yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while. For when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the Word, by and by he loses faith.

22He also that received the seed among the thorns is he that heareth the Word; and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the Word, and he becometh unfruitful.

23But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the Word and understandeth it; who also beareth fruit and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty."

Seed=planting a seed of a thought about God in someone's mind and heart. Seed does not=money.
