Exactly. Of course, I just watched for the first time (and enjoyed) A Man for All Seasons...but I'm using that as a jumping off point to read about the REAL Thomas More, and not taking the movie as a documentary.

THAT is the value of such movies--that they inspire people to READ about the FACTS after seeing the fantasy.

They think the movies are real. One thing if they look on the net they can get easy access to information. The bad tendency
is to uncritically accept what they see on TV without trying to inform themselves.
