BTW: We in the northeast saw most of our cities go from liveable to sh-t in the 1950s and 60s, and this was LONG before the first illegal showed up.

I remember when the only Black we saw in our Neighborhood was the mailman [1960's]. Now there is only one or two Whites left. Anyone with school age kids moved out of town, now the schools are 98% black. I think the Govt. had a lot to do with it [they were handing out mortgages and loans to people who relly were not qualified for them], suddenly we had next door neighbors with four or more adults and 6-7 kids who didn't seem to be related but were living together anyway. Within a ten year period I went from knowing everyone on the street to knowing no one. Maybe in another ten years everyone on the street will be conversing in Spanish and the Blacks will be saying "what happened to the neighborhood?"
