Arrest him upon landing and give him to the Brits to trade for their soldiers.

I don't blame him, you know how hard it is to find a good bagel and schmear in Tehran?
To: epluribus_2
Just lovely, and I have to work tomorrow. Nothing I love more than sitting traffic for 9 gazillion hours so puke arse liberals can force cops and the public to kiss the ass of a freggin` terrorist.

I'd rather leave flight diversion and subsequent arrest to the Canadians. Looks much better for us and the UK.

I think this is an excellent idea.

I'm sure it would cause a diplomatic brouhaha...but it seems to me that as an ally of the UK, we might request their sailors taken by gunpoint by Iran be returned BEFORE MADMOOD SETS FOOT ON OUR SOIL.
Just...a thought.

Absolutely - treat him with exactly the same diplomatic courtesy the Americans received in Tehran in 1979.

For sure, he's heading straight for some flea market bargain shopping to replenish all his so-80s Members Only jackets that are falling apart.

Um, unless he takes the long way around, his aircraft will be well within the range of the Royal Air Force. Maybe it won't be a non-stop flight?
