It's a private school, and as far as I know Catholic schools aren't receiving any government funds directly. Private school, private rules.

even so, when the kids are AT HOME, the school is not acting in parente loco. The Parents are at that point responsible for their children, and if they're gonna let little sally or billy open and use myspace account, the school has no say.

Frankly all, I expect this will go to court somewhere. It's gonna be intersting to see what happens.

USDA grants. Lunch and milk subsidies for students who can't afford it.
