Fred would CLOBBER Hillary in the South, and have a decent shot in the Rust Belt and upper Midwest.

Once Thompson starts running ads (and doing his OWN voice-overs) it's all over for either Dem candidate.

I agree with you EV. I think it is becoming an almost forgone conclusion that Hillary will not be President. Not a bad thing, in my estimation. It will be interesting to see what happens to Obama. I think the press is going to be hesitant to attack him and he is young, energetic and telegenic. He's got the novelty factor going for him. He's going to be harder to beat because of that, I'm afraid.

Stupid poll. Most people don't even know who he is

Since all polls this far out from an election are more or less name recognition, the polls says you are 100% wrong.

He's a smart man - I think he'll read the writing and go for it. Although an official declaration right now would make me feel better, it's probably not the smartest move politically.

If he cared about my nerves, though ... then I guess he'd be a Democrat :-).

I'm starting to have hope that Hillary IS stoppable! When she put together this TERMINATOR election team plus tons of money, which in theory was going to mow down the opposition, I thought we were done for. Hillary has survived many expose books, articles and has just kept steamrolling until lately...

I don't agree with Obama, don't want him for President, but do want him to be the candidate. What I've read so far about Fred tells me he is the guy with the backbone and that is what we've been needing a lot of lately.

I wish Fred would declare, though, so I can get a yard sign and a bumper sticker!

Why not make your own?

"Stupid poll. Most people don't even know who he is."

You're right. Who the heck is he? From which rock did he crawl out from under? We can bet the RATS know everything about him though, should he declare himself a contender, and the MSM mud slinging will commence, as they polish the halo hovering above the beasty woman.

If hair mattered that much Edwards would win.

I know about the hair thing and thought about it myself but think bladness is more accepted now - in fact considered trendy - for guys, not Brittany.

I think Fred's entire demeanour would negate the hair shortage.

Did Giuliani put School Vouchers in place in New York city during his 8 years as mayor there? How did the school system improve during his time as Mayor, how did they compare to other similar cities at the end of his term?

Well, Rudy hasn't killed any rag-heads, but he did throw one out of a theater once. Does that count?

I don't believe he has an exploratory committee yet. That is a formal move and he's made no formal moves.

Maybe you are refering to the "draft Fred Thompson" group, which isn't associated with Thompson.
