The Left throws American Idol a pig party
The Collins Report ^ | March 22, 2007 | John F. Allen

Posted on 03/22/2007 9:23:03 AM PDT by jmaroneps37

.. the first one of my friends ... college was a guy named Mike. ... told of Fraternity parties.

called a "pig party," ....they were really very cruel..

Here's how a "pig party" works. Each fraternity brother puts up his entry fee tries to win by bring the ugliest most repulsive girl he could find to the party. sometimes contestants would ... rent tux in hopes of making their "date" look even worse comparison.

Mike said the worst part of the evening was when the girls would look at each other and realize they had been tricked into a date at a "pig party." It was awful.

... but it's history now.

We would not have heard or thought about "pig parties" had it not been for the corrosive hand of the left. As we know, these people want to destroy everything even remotely connected to those of us on the Right. The new left sees the Fox Network as a symbol of right wing America. As stupid as this sounds, they believe that we get our marching orders from the likes of Hannity and Chris Wallace.

They are now engaged in an effort to destroy one of Fox's huge money making shows, American Idol. They are doing this through a website that encourages people to vote for the worst singer each week, thereby bring the whole voting process to chaotic stand still. Their website claims ... is "good clean fun." Bull shiite!... I don't like/dislike ... American Idol, but please don't tell me this effort to kill it is, "good clean fun." The left is the center of devious Machiavellian thought in this country. This is one of there little minded attacks.

If in fact this is an effort to hurt Fox, what it really is doing is hurting kids with genuine talent in order to vote for a no talent buffoon. I feel so badly for the kids who are being voted off Idol for spite or kicks. They have genuine talent and perhaps a bunch of hateful liberals, who profess to care so much about the young, are doing everything in their power to ruin the careers of these kids in order to further their own agenga. How pathetic. How typical.

No he isn't....

Plenty of people out there don't like the show and the way it is handled. That they make it a popularity contest instead of a real competition makes it someowhat lame. 5,000 tweeners banging text messages can swing the results in favor of a no talent High School Musical/Disney kid singer over someone with real talent.

It's not MoveOn.org its just some people who feel like pissing on someone else's creation and that includes Vote For The Worst as well as Howard Stern.

Their efforts are a waste of time. They may keep a bad singer around a few extra rounds, but they have virtually no impact on the final outcome. It is about as effective as their buy-no-gas days.

He is only right if the rest of us let him be right. Post the url to the site and let Freepers freep the site by voting for their favorite singer. It's only because people are apathetic and they don't care that the left is perverting everything they can get immature degenerate hands on that has everything we hold dear going down the drink. I for one will make my "vote for the worst" a vote for my favorite.

Flip it around on the leftist jerks eh!?

I still wish AI would limit the voting per household to the number of contestants. I can live with someone voting 12 times, but there are pc dialers that allow you to vote hundreds of times.

They voted for John F. Kerry. Seems they like voting for the worst.

30,000,000 votes against Fox?? Nah. Seems like it shows that you can fool 30,000,000 voters, 30,000,000 times. The producers demonstrated that they could take a louzy singer use some phony staging and comments from judges and get him enough votes to win. Seems like that every works in political campaigns too.

Ah yes, I remember this. The genesis of the man-hating feminist...

This may already have been posted, but I heard Howard Stern is encouraging his listeners to vote for the worst singers.

________

Not buying the logic. The show has become something of a self-parody, and as such, the tricksters out there are going to help that along. The show enjoys making a mockery out of people, so why wouldn't the merry pranksters make a mockery out of it.

This is not a political thing, at least not IMHO.

Mike Gallagher just spent the last 15 minutes of his show talking about this, and he was calling him "Sangina". ROFLMAO!

Well, that explains Sanjiya. If Doolittle doesn't win, something's wrong.

Doolittle.... Every time I see her on the show (I don't watch, I just make snide comments periodically while my wife and daughter watch) I can't help but say to myself "This show is so easy a cave man could do it".

...they believe that we get our marching orders from the likes of Hannity and Chris Wallace.

Now that's just plain ignorant....

Everybody knows we get our marching orders from Megan Kelly & Courtney Friel.
