If I were President,what I would do now is tell Mr. Gonzales to stop pussyfooting around with Congress. I would push the Jefferson bribe probe hard. Charge him. Look into other criminal doings such as the Reid Land deals. If they want to play hardball , play it.

Bottom line is that the dems are interested in one thing and one thing only, and that is to either destroy Bush or make him look so bad that no one will vote republican in 2008. Exactly right. I think a lot of the frustration from Freepers comes from the fact that Bush has been way too nice in his dealings with the Dems.
Hit them, hit them hard, and then hit them again. Jefferson, Reid, Leahy, Rockefeller... go after them and make them defend THEIR actions.
By taking the low road, the whole government descends into chaos. And who will they blame, well the president of course, he's the leader of the country. This is exactly what the Dems want he would be playing right into their hands.
