I hadn't seen her in a while and wondered where she was. Story is a little old but interesting.

I'm bummed. Kiran Chetry was the best reason to tune into Fox on Saturday mornings.

I've seen her substituting for Anderson Pooper-Scooper, and various other shows, sometimes working alongside that cookie-cutter anchor John Roberts.

I really liked her on Fox the one morning about two weeks ago or so she was subbing for Soldad on CNN morning news.
More recently I have seen her in the background on Paula Zahn doing little bits here and there.
She really looks unhappy and out of place at CNN. She was a bubbly person on Fox and now you can see here forcing smiles out at the camera.

Maybe she will claim her civil rights were violated (not cute enough).

She's at CNN now so I'm sure she's not as happy. E.D. has her own show and the other 2 hosts Mike and the other blond are doing a show together like Regis & Kelly.

I can't stand that Gretchen. She has absolutely no chemistry with the two guys and comes across as a doofus. Sometimes she even sounds as if she's lecturing them.

Post Chronicle ^ | Feb 19, 2007 | StaffOld news and has been discussed ad nauseum here but I do miss her. I don't watch Fox and Friends anymore because of Gretchen.

I'm sure eventually the new fox, Ainsley Earhardt, will get more exposure on some show. Right now she's doing top and bottom of the hour updates during hours when most people should be sleeping.

I don't blame Fox, at all. In fact, I applaud them for having the integrity they did.
I miss Kiran, but heck, I've missed a lot of girls in my life. LOL
Good on you, Fox. Now, put E.D. back on Fox and Friends.

As much as I like Kiran, greed eventually catches up to everyone. Yes, she is cuter and more talented than Carlson, but the demands were outrageous.
Not to worry, though, Fox has a slew of foxes working there. Talented and beautiful as well.
I saw Julie Banderos sitting in weekend before last. Up and cominf beauty. Let's hope she doesn't get greedy as well.

Sort of semi off-point, but a sho-biz story. I worked years ago on a series that was pretty much run by one guy. When he retired, one of his underlings had his agent call the studio and tell them that the underling had been the real talent behind the series and deserved to be running the show with the attendant big pay raise. The studio's reply? "We'll get right back to you."
They then proceeded to replace the underling, and for the next three months, every time his agent called they told him they were carefully considering his offer. The underling found out he'd been dumped when the series started shooting for the fall and nobody gave him a call time for the first day.
Now, THAT'S cold!
When you tick them off, studios can be kind of mean like that.
