I am not sure when it started but certainly the fashion seems to be trousers for women for everyday wear. I am as bad especially in the winter. We need IMHO to bring back the skirt and blouse into everyday wear not just the business lunch or if there is important visitors which I tend to do in winter. In summer I am more inclined to wear skirts and dresses.
I think I need to get some warm winter skirts for next year and start putting into practice what I have just written. I know there are some days when trousers are needed to be worn if I am going to spend time in the factory but other days I really ought to wear skirts.

I do NOT own one pantsuit.
I have never even contemplated wearing one.

snugs, I have been trying to find a dress for Easter and it is almost impossible. Everyone is showing separates in UGLY colors and cuts. One department store had nothing but dark green, brown, beige, and black, with a few pieces of that hideous lavender that makes ones' skin look jaundiced.
And so few skirts! Mostly pants.
I am NOT buying this ugly stuff. I will wear something already in my closet instead.
