Welcome to Sanity Island, where only adults are allowed.
President Bush Welcomed Prime Minister Clark of New Zealand to the White House and met with her in the Oval Office. The text of their remarks can be found HERE.
Today is the "traditional" FIRST DAY of SRING. In celebration of Spring, two photos from 2006.
Pink Laura Bush tulips bloom in the East Garden. The tulip was named in the First Ladys honor April 22, 2004.
Miss Beazley and Barney tip toe through the tulips in the East Garden of the White House.

I loved the pink tie that he wore when he was interviewed by Brit after the "shooting incident" he also wore in on Valentine's Day this year, something that I am sure really threw the liberal press not something they would have thought Dick Cheney would do (bet he did it for that reason LOL).

I own one mauve one but I do wear smart black and brown trousers to work basically because I do not have a really warm winter skirt.
The summer though I normally wear skirts or dresses.

I love lavender actually LOL but then I have fairly dark colouring so lavender looks good on me but I can appreciate if you have a lighter skin or hair colouring that is not a good colour.
