In introducing a segment on Algore, the Weather Bimbo referred to him as "former Vice President although we like to refer to him as former President-Elect Al Gore".
This was around 4:30PM CTS. Why is no one calling them on their overt leftist bias?
Who owns the Weather Channel?
Yeah, I hope so too. But I'm not holding my breath (unless that will cut down on carbon emissions). Thanks for the contact form Onyx.
I know; it was only a joke. No northern sympathy from me.
Yet another media embarrasment from the Atlanta area to the nation. First, it's CNN and their mostly liberal bias over the years, now it's the Weather Channel (another Atlanta-based liberal embarrasment) and their attempted angle at political matters. Until recently, their weather coverage was usually second to none and I was one of their biggest fans from the early 80's on. But, thanks to the so-called leadership of leftie Wonya Lucas, a former CNN news employee (Gee what a surprise!!), their weather coverage for some parts has gone to the dogs and they are trying to become the next "Algore" instead of giving us the weather.
And don't forget, Miss Heidi Cullen studied Eastern Religions at Juanita College in Pennsylvania, which may explain her hare-brained idiocy at global warming.
Thankfully, there are alternative weather sites such as weatherbug, intellicast.com, accuweather.com (where Joe Bastardi correctly predicted the major arctic outbreak that happened from January-February), and the National Weather Service.
Very nice! Thanks for the heads up.
Exactly.
Hitting them in the pocket book or spilling blood are the only things that will work with these clowns anymore. Of course we would all like to never spill blood (civil war).
Trying to debate them or fill their in-baskets with letters wont do much. IMHO
Now that you mention it, there *is* a nip in the air.
Hope springs eternal. :^)
My God. She even looks like a donkey.
Just wanted to post the reply email I received from a staffer at the Weather Channel:
Good afternoon, Ron.
Thank you for your email message and interest in The Weather Channel.
I will forward your email message, expressing your disappointment with the recent comments made by Jennifer Lopez, TWC on camera meteorologist, during a recent interview with former Vice President Al Gore to her supervisors and our programming directors. They will be reminded that the majority of our viewers are tuning to us for weather information, and the science of meteorology, and not to hear politically driven views or comments.
I fired off this email immediately after reading the original post in this thread. Took them a little while to answer but they did finally respond.
