That is, unless the "deal" requires them to pay all back taxes not collected since the got here...........

Nifty idea - but how do you make them pay back-taxes on money that is not documented?

If such a bill, including amnest (by ANY NAME), is signed into law, I will not vote Republican again - period. That is enough to be a permananet deal-breaker. The Republican Party is doing to our country what we have so long voted Republican to prevent - selling us out and running us into oblivion.

Apparently, our vote (if for Dems or Repubs) don't really matter any more. All establishment politicians are hell-bent on ruining the United States. Neither party is any better than the other. When the "frontrunners" for the GOP side of the'08 election are as liberal on nearly every issue as Hitlery - that should be a sign. And the Republican party (backed by GW Bush and Co.) are right on board.

But I guess there are many here on FR who would argue that ANY Repub is better than a Dem. I firmly believe that the only remaining hope for America is a 3rd party. and since the establishment will never allow that to happend with the closed two-party system, we are very likely - screwed.

It's a FACT that Latino organizations don't like Bush, and think even THIS isn't going far enough. They won't rest until they achieve their goals. Citizenship and Open Borders.

On May 1st, yet again, we will be harassed with another "Day without an Immigrant" Nation wide, disgusting protest march with demonstrations and boycott.

The American public overwhelmingly does NOT support this Shamnesty bill.

It must be stopped!

If they get their way, our country will become as bad as the countries they left.

I will not vote Republican again

That's a moot point. There won't be a country anymore if they sign it. It'll just be a 'homeland' to the NAU and a 'member state' of the OAS.

Why are they so anxious to give our country away?

The Bush family and their buddies sold their souls to the devil long ago (globalists, one-world government, all one big happy family, diversity, blah, blah, blah.

If he gets his wish to merge America, Mexico and Canada, guess where everyone will be? Not Mexico, not Canada. Guess who wants to be king?

WE'VE BEEN SOLD OUT BY TRAITORS.

So then, we need to let our elected officials KNOW that WE the voter, will with-hold money from the GOP if they don't stop this.

A guest worker program would have become law if the House had compromised in May of 06. That was a mistake. The reasoning was that Amnesty could have be stalled until after Bush left office in 08. Unfortunately the GOP lost in 06 and there are too many RINOs left to filibuster the rats. Withholding money from the GOP is just flogging a dead horse. It will do nothing now, except make life easier for the rats.

Hopefully their bambinos will be "Americanized" to the point that they won't give a rat's hind leg about voting when they turn 18, and up to about 25 or so.

Your point has merit. BUT, we can not count on that.

This must be slapped down with a flood of opposition.

Hunt out the fax websites and DO IT..

Have a bit of patriot fun and make just ONE phone call. If a majority of us make one call, it will be a flood of calls. And DO NOT wait for "the other guy" to do it.

Be the "other guy" and pick up the phone.

"He is definitely giving our sovereignty away and it appears there is nothing we can do."

There are things We can do, individually and as a group.

One would be to raise as much hell as the illegals and their ilk.

Taking our protest to the streets would be a good start.

As landlords, deny residence to illegals.

As business owners, deny jobs to illegals and don't do business with those who do.

Demand action at local levels to stop *sanctuary* policies

If you work in a position where IDs are involved, scrutinize applications beyond what your employer dictates.

Make life hell for those who come to invade our sovereign nation.

I am to the point that I really don't know what you can deny to an illegal anymore without getting yourself in trouble. Yesterday, it was pointed out that medicaid was due to illegals for a year when they have a baby. I am not sure if that means the whole famillyh or not. I have seen state bills that actually protect illegals in nursing homes more than legals.

I really don't know what you can legally ask this protected species of illegal aliens.

One thing I am going to do is buy a cheap cell phone and put an out of state area code on it. This is legal as I have done it before. I intend to call 2 sets of congress critters.

We must be willing to challenge the system before this gets too out of hand. I'm not sure the Congress and the WH are good places to start. If they don't realize We're pissed and We're not going to take it anymore by now, more persuasive measures must be taken.

"It will do nothing now, except make life easier for the rats."

It doesn't matter who the rep is - Dem or GOP - they all understand that they won't get elected again if they go too far against their constituency.

They aren't stupid, they know that about 80% of the people who actually vote are against this.
