I worked for several years (and had an enduring friendship with) a director who had prostate cancer. (Speaking of Italians, he directed many episodes of The Sopranos.) He was the object of many crushes by many ladies, (some very famous) and his illness never affected his vitality, sense of humor, flirtatious nature, and all-around charm. If anything it made him very open-hearted and understanding of people's problems and struggles.

Good for him.

Of course if he's flirtatious, charming and has a sense of humor, he can't run for office, at least as a Republican.
