Awesome News.
It sounds like this Scout will have an adventure story to tell.
His dad said in an interview that he figured that his son would be found in a shelter making up some beef jerky or something. He said that he had the wits and training to survive.
I'm so glad that my boys are Scouts and that I get to help lead them and a bunch of other boys.
Boy Scouts is a tremendous organization and is necessary in America and the rest of the world.
Just waiting for some liberal moonbat to claim the boy would have been better off living in the wild with the animals than living with his human Christian Boyscout supporting parents.
Great News!
Thank God!
did they find him in Velma's trailer?
Thank goodness! No doubt his training as a boy scout helped him get by and keep his cool. Keeping a cool head is really so important in getting out of most jams!
Thank God that the young man is safe and sound! :-)
Thank You Jesus. Nothing is lost in Your kingdom!
Thank God!
Thank God he's OK.
also, it restore some of my faith in today's kids. He learned some skills and was able to apply them to survive. I have a 12 yr old First Class Scout and hope he can do he same if necessary. You can bet I will be asking him what he knows and to show me. One great way to spend time with him!
Amazing ping!
The President Lyndon Baines Johnson's signature on my Eagle Scout certificate back in 1968 is seared, seared into my mind...
I can't tell you how happy I am to log in and see your post with this wonderful news.
Good news indeed! I hate to say this but with all the dogs they had looking for him its obvious none of them were hunting dogs..........
Praise God. God is faithful. We should also pray for our president just as diligently as for this boy. Bush needs our prayers and we can do wonders on our knees before God. The dems don't know what real power is!!!
My take on this ... this kid was avoiding rescuers, they saturated the area and he was found within a mile of where he first went missing. There is something very odd about this story ... and spare me the drivel about how rugged the terrain is in the area, I'm experienced with the outdoors, a scout myself many years ago and still an outdoor enthusiast.
Thank you God! You are awesome!
Survived sub-freezing temps. God bless the Scouts who teach our boys to be men. And to you-know-where with those trying to destroy the Scouts.
Thanks for the post LNYC. I said a prayer this morning for Michael and his family. I am so relieved for the happy outcome. As for the thread, I am also grateful that I am not critical or cynical enough that I feel compelled to judge what happened. That may come out in time. It may not. I will not judge the motives of the parents or their decision to give Michael ritalin. I am simply happy that a precious life is home with his loving parents. As a father of twin 14 year-old boys, that is what I choose to do.
Prayers are answered. Thank You, Lord.
