It's depressing that we've come to the point that we don't know what these reports mean. I used to think of Bush as a "his word is his bond" kind of guy. Now I am confused.

Now I am confused.I'm not the biggest Bush fan in the world, but I'm getting sick of people dumping on him for this. The fract is, Gonzales is a lousy Attorney General and he screwed up. Bad. Pres. Bush should not use one bit of his political capital covering for him.

I used to think of Bush as a "his word is his bond" kind of guy. Now I am confused. He began to lose me when he fired Rummy after saying for months that he had full confidence in him. The day after the election...when his supporters were looking for something to hold onto, he fired Rummy. Now he seems like just another checked pants Republican pragmatist trying to maintain the status quo. Doing whatever he can do to not p.o. the democrats. That's not who I thought I was voting for.
