Press Releases Contact: Brendan Daly 202-226-7616 For Immediate Release 03/19/2007 Pelosi: The American People Have Lost Confidence in Bushs Open-Ended War
Washington, D.C. Speaker Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today on President Bushs remarks on the fourth anniversary of the war in Iraq:
Today, as this war enters its fifth year, President Bush continues to ask for an open-ended commitment to this war by our brave troops and the American people. Democrats offer a new direction for Iraq: a plan to hold President Bush and the Iraqi government accountable, protect our troops, support our veterans health care, and begin to responsibly redeploy our troops.
The American people have lost confidence in President Bushs plan for a war without end in Iraq. That failed approach has been rejected by the voters in our nation, and it will be rejected by the Congress.

While still popular with Hollywod leftists, real Americans have lost confidence in botox and facelifts.

What's really scary is that if the Dem's win in 2008, when attacked on our own soil again, they'll have the MSM flogging the 'it's 8 years of Bush that caused this' mantra. The Dem's will never come to grips with the threat of radical Islam because they'll never be held to account for their own ineptitude. It's truly the scenario of how the Jihad could prevail. (Just when the Second Amendment is heading for the Supreme Court.)

Nancy, you do not speak for the American people. You really only speak for San Francisco.
Does this woman really think she has a mandate?
We can just laugh.

This demented witch and her party of flying monkeys can't stop obsessing about Iraq. They want the US defeated there more than Al Qaeda does.

they'll never be held to account for their own ineptitude. It's even more than ineptitude. It is the actual giving of aid and comfort to the enemy, encouraging them to hang on until the USA gets rid of the current president. The 'rats put politics above national security and sadly, they will never be held accountable for it.

No we haven't but this is one American who's sick to death of your hate America first, anti-American socialist clap trap. Go to hell Nancy.

Democrats offer a new direction for Iraq: a plan to hold President Bush and the Iraqi government accountable, protect our troops, support our veterans health care, and begin to responsibly redeploy our troops
Translation: Democrats offer insults, criticism and obstruction for Iraq: a plan to blame Bush, ignore the Iraqi government and the TRUE progress of what has been done (and is still being done) there, discredit and dishonor our troups, politicize our veteran's healthcare and to cut and run from Iraq...
