His face looks like I walked on it with my old metal-spiked golf shoes {and improved on it}. Ugly faggot.

Oh man, when I saw the title, I was afraid it was Fred Thompson.

Making you think it was Fred Thompson was probably WND's intent.

You said:
Belzer is seriously koo-koo.
I remember hearing him years ago on Howard Stern seriously contending that the moon was put in earth's orbit by an intelligent extraterrestrial society.

His proof was that the same side of the moon always faces earth which allows them to monitor us.

The only logical explanation he could see for this rather common celestial arrangement was the alien spybase theory.

My reply:

Two seconds research on the Internet yields this:

The earth's gravity caused the side of the moon closest to us to bulge outward, just as the moon's gravity causes our oceans to bulge and create tides. The continual deformation of the lunar crust as it rotated relative to the earth acted as an interplanetary brake, and eventually the moon slowed so that the same side always faced toward the earth. (The moon also got farther away.) The result is called "captured" or "synchronous" rotation, and it's common throughout the solar system.

Note the last sentence. How can you go around and seriously talk about nonsense like that without bothering to spend the few seconds to look for an alternate explanation. Sounds to me that the Belz needs a tin-foil hat. What happened to the days when you find a Democrat who wasn't insane to debate policy with?

According to actor and comedian Richard Belzer, American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan are too uneducated to be expressing support for the U.S. military mission since they're just "19 and 20-year-old kids who couldn't get a job" and "they don't read twenty newspapers a day."

Little Dick Belzer, instead of preaching to us common folks, ought to be going over to Iraq and saying this directly to the troops!!! Of course, he probably does not have the cajones to do that!!

An especially mean drill instructor could probably do it in a couple weeks.

Yeah, but the right Drill Instructor could do it in a couple of days. He'd be cryin' for his mama.

I was afraid it was Fred Thompson.

I was guessing D'Onofrio, who is a moonbat of the first order. I seem to recall that he had to take some time off from "L&O:CI" after the 2004 election to get over his depression that W had been re-elected.

Belzer is a pompous ass and his L&O character clearly displays that quality.

I like Law and Order, not the SVU version though.
Belzer is one of the reasons.

I absolutely cannot stand him.
He's a lousy actor and worse comedian. ( can you believe it, he was a 'comedian'.)
The Haggarty woman can't make up for Belzer on SVU.

I'm sure Belzer knows more than the troops. Unfortunately, everything he does know, just isn't so.

The average age of the US soldiers who have died in Iraq is 30. See http://americablog.blogspot.com/2005/10/whats-average-age-of-2000-us-soldiers.html

I would say that is exactly what the author and/or editor wanted people who only read the headline to think!

>>Can't these people stick to acting?

They are. It's the "compassionate anti-suffering" act.

>>What do they know about anything?

Damn little. As a friend who went from RVN to a recurring role on "$6,000.000 Man" said "Most actors don't know their names without a cue card."

Liberals are just breathtaking in their hubris, and their condescension towards members of our military
