I can never Thank our brave troops enough. Stay vigilant, my resolve is strong.
Sir, It was a pleasure and a honor to fight for you back here, they messed their pants when they saw what was there to stomp them back into the rock they crawled out from under.
Hello Airborne!!!
It was wonderful spending time w/ you, my friends from Mark Levin Fan Forum, also Freepers, and all my fellow patriots, especially our Vets! I still have such a sense of pride and I hope to carry that for a long time. We better have another to "refill". Nah, I just want a repeat, I have not had such an uplifting experience in such a long time. Watch out libs, I'm all reved up!!!
I was wondering if they saw. Thank you for that, my spirits have been lifted once again!! We will be silent no more. Our Vets will never be left behind again, the "silent no more" majority have spoken.
SUHU!!! It was SO great meeting you two, Tennessee nana, Don from manassas and Air Borne! You guys made a terrific day even better! I'm looking forward to doing it again, this time I'm staying overnight!!!
Very moving. I look forward to reading your stories.
It was great meeting you at the restaurant. Hope you had a safe trip home.
It was such a THRILL to meet you!!

Its tough to express how much the GoE effort meant to those of us here in Iraq watching it. It feels really good to know the Vietnam Vets and the rest of you have got our backs.
THANK-YOU!!

Well, done to all FReepers and troop supporters who gathered in DC. I'm very happy that all the planning and hard work paid off!
From the bottom of my heart I thank all the Eagles that attended this event. What a dose of positive patriotism that our country needed so dearly. Eagles rock!
Agreed...it was one of the most memorable days of my life and I hope, my kids.
The one thing I would like to know is WHEN ARE WE DOING IT AGAIN!!!!
This time with perhaps a bit more warning, time to plan and perhaps some to help fund as the left is so fond of.
Perhaps we can plan our own event and force the MSM to cover us
Thank you for ALL you did, all you do.
My screen is blurry too, maybe we should report it to the Mods or something.
I'm just a middle-aged American citizen, but so proud and grateful to the men who keep us free.
Love to you all.

This thread is very moving.
Hi fellow Tennessean,
I was there too, freezing. I had to change some last minute plans as far as hotel, etc., but I was there Saturday, and don't think I could ever find the words to describe what I experienced.
We Volunteers need to keep in touch and organize a local effort, to follow up. I probably will not be able to make another D.C. event, but I could go to Nashville easily, and want to do so to make sure Congress knows we are out here, and they need to listen to us. I am tired of reading these polls (80 percent of Americans oppose the war, nada, nada). I don't believe that, no one has ever polled me.
Eventually the Dimocrats are going to try to cut off funding for our troops (and soon) and we need to keep the pressure on.
Thank You for 'Gathering of Eagles'...It was a long way to come, but would do it again! It was great to see such a fantastic turn out on such a very short notice.
Wow! Those Eagles really now how to Gather!!
I don't think Wild Horses could have kept the Veterans away frpm taking there STAND! My only regret is, I didn't get to meet you in person.
