You're welcome. Let's just be friends, okay?
His name wouldn't by chance be "Greg Packer," would it??
Good line.
I asked Del who the VVAW guy was, but he couldn't recall the name. Del did say he's somebody who gets interviewed frequently and is basically a full-time activist. I suspect I'd recognize his name if I heard it.
1. You're nice but......
2. You're like a brother to me.
3. If I ever get married I want him to be just like you.
4. Well, ya see, there's this guy...
5. Well, ya see, there's this girl...
6. (I can't remember! I'm getting old)
7. So, let's just be good friends...

TS
Thanks I T for the report, and being there
Doogle
Thanks for posting this excellent report.
I wish I had been there.
Ping.
You had to be there (grin) to understand the magnitude of our message. Just seeing those vets, of all ages, and of several wars and conflicts, was enough to bring tears to my eyes.
Ronnie,
I would like your explanation, if you have one, for the present attitude of Joe Galloway. I know he was there on the battlefield with you in the Ia drang valley, but his present attitude is more like the MSM and really puts me off, in fact, I just don't understand it at all, and despite his bravery, in the past, I have to say he looks like one more leftist dope when he is waxing eloquent on the present Iraq situation. What gives?
I am very, very glad that people found my after-action report to be informative, or heartwarming, or worthwhile in any sense. We do what we can, every one of us, in little ways (like mine) and big ways (like Col. Riley et al), for love of this country, of its wonderful founding principles, of all the good in it, and for the sake of those who went before us and those who will come after us. We have to keep it up, the media and academia and deep pockets ultraliberals will never stop their efforts to carry on with misinformation, and our country cannot afford to have its voters brainwashed into bad decisions again and again. And again, it was my privilege to be there and contribute in any way. Congrats to all who were there, and all who supported them in any way. Now we go on to the next fight!
The 17th was certainly a day to remember. Thanks again for the fine report.
