Don't remember where I saw it, probably here on FR, but in a rollicking description of La Plame's histrionics at the hearing, it was remarked that when listening to or responding to the Dems, Plame rolled her eyes up at the corners in the flirty-demure manner of Princess Di. An accompanying photo showed this startling affectation.
When either of the two Republican panel members addressed Val, her face wore the stolid, cow-like expression of a clever but quintessentially nasty little girl wary of having her dream sequence of lies and evasions unravelled by the two grown-ups present who did not find her act either entrancing or convincing.
The denoument for Joe and Val's story is already playing out in the attorneys' offices where her "testimony" is being vetted for presentation during the civil case the Wilsons have initiated against the government, meaning us, the taxpayers, and individuals.
Meanwhile, until the big pay-off they are expecting, the Wilsons' are looking forward to the successful passage of an Act of Congress which will allow Val to begin collecting her pension right away to help pay off the $1.1 million dollar mortgage they have taken out on their New Mexico digs.
I found the details of this real-estate transaction quite intriguing, mostly because of the background and activities of the people who sold the property to the Wilsons.
Joe and Val performed the required "services" and will now be well taken care of.
Well....let's pray that Congress gets ONE thing right this year..and denies her, her early pension.
I cringed every time I looked at her...she was so phony, I was embarrassed for her...LOL
