I could not agree with you more, and it sounds like your Boss is a Perfectionist, but with a penchant(irrational) to play the Blame game. If she does it for her own self satisfaction and not to weed out the poor quality employees, and to keep the credibility of the Company up then she is just a Flake. I had a Witchy, rotten Redhead Owner/Boss that was so flaky she would change ways of doing things every day and when it caused havoc, (because nobody could keep up with the changes even her), she would go off on hysterical tangents like she was off her BiPolar meds. I finally solved the problem and told others to do the same thing. When she started in the crazy behavior just look at her like she is crazy, even if you have to practice in the mirror giving her that "I think you are totally nuts and I am calling the Nut ward at the Hospital to take you away" look. I had the look down to a Science and it would make her get a sheepish, embarrassed look on her face and then she would just walk away. Try it, it may work but you may need practice and become an actress.

She is strange because on the other hand she can be so kind when I lost my weight she paid for me to have new hairstyle. I think that a lot of it is how she is feeling at the time.

Also she gets really upset when her husband the managing director has to go away on business and when this incident happened he had just left for a month in China.

IMHO a man would not let this affect him this way.
