Yes, they probably could but he is pretty sharp, and could probably get "The Judge" Napolitano to take his case, He could probably get a nice Republican Jewish Lawyer to do it Pro bono. I do not know if anyone else has noticed, but I sense a strange feeling in the Public, they are worried and out of sorts with a great economy. All this viciousness by the Rats and the hate spewed daily by them is giving people a sense of unease, and I am talking about mostly Rat Voters. I feel like Rat voters need to take Valium anymore, and the rats are in Power. They are not happy campers.

You put forward in clear and definite terms the issues on the table on this question.  All too often we are reluctant to make these statements because "we already said that" and we're reluctant to repeat outselves.  They aren't.  They keep repeating their lies ad nauseum, and it's out duty to keep repeating the truth every time they spew their filth.  It's even more refreshing when it is delivered in such a clear and unambiguous fashion.

You may have to lay off listening to Mort, he runs Hot and cold. concentrate on doing things that make you happy. If listening to the BS from the Commie Libs makes you unhappy, either picture the fools in Prison Uniforms, hitting cement or rock with a pickax, or switch the Station to Animal Planet to watch Meerkat Manor. Don't give it up altogether just the most annoying. Roll up a few tube socks and make a weapon to throw at the TV that will not break the screen. Working hard like scrubbing sinks, or digging up weeds or laying Tile on your floor will help also, and it will save you money to boot. Rent a hilarious older Movie like Naked Gun with Leslie Neilson, it works wonders, but you have to ignore OJ Simpson in the Movie.

Remember, the rules of the Senate are built on the basic assumption that all of the players are honorable people. Dishonorable people therefore have an unfair advantage. Fred was basically in the position of allowing Glenn to hijack the operation of the entire Senate to protect Clinton from charges of treason (in exchange for a ride on the shuttle) or bring the entire government of the United States down in a constitutional crisis.

Fred let the welfare of the nation trump the issues of the day. I think he was wrong in this instance, but I wasn't in his position and I 100% understand his decision process.

I do NOT hold this incident against Fred Thompson. I do, however, think that it has contributed to his understanding of the opposition he would face as president. I think it's interesting that he would choose now to get back into the fray. The possibilities are ... awesome!

I sure hope Wallace gets a lot of nasty emails about his commentary today. He was beyond snarky. I know I sent one in, and hope others do as well. At the end of the panel, Juan really looses it, he makes no sense. He wants to talk long term, but at the same time, says we should not be there to impact the long term outcome. He was a lost little boy today.

As an aside, did you catch the look of disgust on Brit's face today when Chris Wallace was saying the White House outed Plame. I think he was incensed that Wallace was spinning the DNC talking points rather than speaking the facts. I would not want to be on the receiving end of one of Brit's looks.

He is by far, the absolute best in the news today. Wallace should try to learn some lessons from him rather than ignore his intelligence and integrity. But then I expect, Wallace is too far gone, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and his dad is a real loser.

I thought I gave that nickname to Christopher Dodd. Actually I called his office about 8 years ago and ask them just what is his problem, and said I thought he looked and acted like a fat Fop. They were none too pleased, but could not dispute he acted like a Dandy (Fop) from Jolly old Ct.

The dems have a "blank check" or "blank subpoena" now...they can and will use it to drag every one of the Bush administration into their sham hearings, and as someone else has mentioned, set perjury traps. I am so weary of Bush letting them chip away at presidential power. I used to think he would go down as one of the best presidents ever, but I am fast losing that hope. The dems have learned to use the rope-a-dope on HIM, and he falls for it every time.

The best thing I can say about most female Officers is that they can diffuse a situation better if brute force is not called for. Male Officers can make certain situations worse. If it is all about kicking butt, the Boys win most of those challenges.

Unless he can sound and look Younger and have more energy than Paul Harvey, no matter what lessons he learned (if he did) he is going to be hit with the Bob Dole thing. He sounds/looks like a slow talking,phlegmatic,Wise, Elderly Southern Gentleman, and that would not get me to vote for him, otherwise I would vote for Colonel Sanders. That was a joke......LOL! I wonder if Colonel Sanders was a Conservative? He has got to show an ability to be energetic and ready to Buffalo his way through the Rats nest, or he will go nowhere. Most of us are waiting for someone, anyone to show some spine, we are still waiting. Rats do not play by the rules, so a smart Lawyer can skirt the rules and nail their butts to the Pole Barn. Draw them out rope a dope style, then sucker punch them all in one fell swoop.
