Exactly....Pres. Bush was doomed as soon as the election in 2000 was settled.

That man has never had a chance....but, naively, he approached his job in Washington, the same way he did in Texas.

He reached across the aisle...and has been paying for it ever since....within his OWN party.

The dems and left don't care one whit whether he has worked with them or not....because of Clinton's impeachment.

Sleuthy, I have a link about Clinton. Gateway Pundit has some clips from the new biography, American Evita (guess who it's about?)

Yikes, can her mother ask for a refund from Wellesley College? Clearly, she doesn't have a real vocabulary, just one from the protests. The worst is blanked out but it's pretty clear what she's about

because of Clinton's impeachment.

The other evening I heard Mort Kondrake say, after the Libby verdict...."This was a really bad case about lying to the grand jury and should not have been tried. So too was the case against Bill Clinton and..." then went on to say..."tit for tat", that kind of thing.

Now I know Mort is a onceinawhile conservative but I figger if HE thinks the Clinton thing should have been overlooked I wonder...well maybe we should have overlooked Clinton's behavior.

Yet isn't the idea that we are ALL equal under the law? Oh, and what about Bergler and Democrat Louisiana with the 90K in his freezer?

And you tell me not to get down? Gimme stuff of that stuff y'all are smoking.

Anyone that missed the War Stories with Ollie North this afternoon should really try to check for a replay.

It was VERY good...gives a good chronology of the rise of Islamic radicalism..interviews with Walid Phares, Dick Cheney, James Woolsey...and many others.

I got rid of my old Hillary books because at some point, you have to let go. And yet I am drawn to this.

I read these out loud to my folks, but supplied bleeps in the appropriate spaces. They had heard most of these before as coming from her. LOL And they are nearly 80.

Whoa! Fish, my tongue in cheek post about Rush and your reaction to his attempt at humor (failed or not) garnered this rant?

And you're declaring that you'd rather have Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid in charge of the legislature and someone like Hillary Clinton in the White House in 2008 than one of the "tainted" Republicans who have so disappointed you? That is the inescapable conclusion from your statements in this post and that is simply WRONG.

I'm frankly disappointed to think that you would take this 100%er stance and cut off my nose to spite your face. That is a nihilistic and self destructive position, if that is in fact what you're saying.  Please tell me I'm wrong.

Piss on the RINOs available to you and work to defeat them, I'll help, but don't turn your back on those that haven't done the things you say your own rep has done. He's your rep. Defeat him or move somewhere else. Don't work for a situation where my representative (Marsha Blackburn) or Senators (Alexander and Corker), who I generally approve of, have a harder time doing the things that need to be done.

And please don't take my lame attempt at humor in my last post as an attack.  It was not meant as such and I apologize if you took it seriously.  But also please refrain from the kind of invective that you've been directing at anyone that has challenged your position on what Rush was doing this last week.  We need to be able to disagree without resorting to the kind of crude personal attacks that have been flowing all too freely today.  When I did the awards last week I was most impressed by the ability we've developed to disagree without getting angry with each other.  Please don't prove me wrong.

OMG....That was disgusting!!!

I would LOVE to some moderator at a debate read that list and ask her why she thinks a gutter rat like her should ever step foot back into the White House again...

Dear Lord, I just give up.

I said I wouldn't respond to the bait, I apologized already to anyone I may have offended, I promised I would not do it again...and STILL you won't give me a break?

I told the story about Mike Castle....well I guess I better take my ball and go home today....I thought I was doing pretty good here....

I give up....

Yeah, it has been a bit of Schadenfreude on Freerepublic about his poll numbers and erratic behavior. The best posts have been about how he is trying to get sympathy by Pulling a Mchael/ Kitty Dukakas claiming his wife is being treated for Depression.

If he was that bad thirty years ago it would be one thing but, this was within the last five years. I called his Office and vented about two things, one was The Chinese Money/Clinton Hearings, and the other was him siding with Mccain on the CFR. It was not his bill, and other Pubbies messed up also but since he was a Lawyer I expected more from him on what a loser of a Bill it was. I am not sure, but I believe his Daughter died and she may have been very ill while the hearings were going on, but if I recall her Death was sort of unexpected. I confess I really don't recall exactly. If he was under stress because of a Family Situation he could have stepped down and let a real Warhorse in there as Chair.

You are lucky you weren't on the receiving end of some of my posts one night last week...

I can't even remember now exactly what sent me down the depression hole so far...but, after posting a few times, I had freepers begging me to stop posting, because I was too depressed...LOL

No, I get down all of the time...and angry and frustrated....

BUT, no matter what happens, I will vote in 2008 for the Republican whoever that may end up being...because to NOT vote, because I am depressed, disgusted, angry, or whatever emotion....

puts my grandchildren's futures in jeopardy...because it would help put Hillary and Obama in the White House...

NO WAY!

But the best strategy is to let the dems and Hollywood beat her up. They have legitimate gripes. If we shut up, she takes the consequences.

I am watching FNS, Kerry did treat his face. I think it's the prep H and ice pack.

The smile is assinine. This man still doesn't understand why he lost the election.

Okay...jon f'n carry just told a whopper and where is Chris Wallace??/

He did NOT say that Petraeus was saying absent the political and economical solutions, which Petraeus is also dealing with.

uh-oh carry just complained about the conservative media and called out Chris my name....I see Soros has told them all to be SURE and bash Fox.

You have to be a little crazy to be a Police Officer, especially if you are female. you are always getting, kicked, bitten, scratched, cursed at, Uniform torn, Glasses Broken, especially Shades. I know one Officer that had to buy three pair of Sunglasses in three days, the Criminals kept knocking them off and breaking them. Then there is cleaning up your Squad car after disgusting human debris have let loose from every conceivable body orifice. The most insidious is when the Police Officer searches his vehicle in an inventory after a Transport of an arrestee, and reaches down under the seat or behind and finds hypodermic needles, Pills, etc. I would not do it, it is far too dangerous.

I just feel so damn beaten down lately.

Yeah? Not me.

You see, I am a student of history. Anyone who understands the history of this nation knows that God smiles on us.

We will be down, we will be challenged, we will be hurt. It is true throughout America's existence that we will face more and sacrifice more than anyone else in defense of our nation.

And because we have so much to defend, when all seems lost, it is this nation that rises up and kicks the crap out of any force that opposes us. It is ugly, it is brutal, and it is periodically necessary to have us be reminded of what is at stake.

When we forget, the weak and immoral gain force, plunder our defenses, and leave us ready for ruin. But when the time comes, and we begin to lose our greatness, we lock and load, and get down to business.

We have not fought an all out war since the 40s. This is because we were so fierce, we became guilty of our might. When we reach the point again (which unfortunately required) we will again bring down so much force on our enemies, as to make them cower again, and wish for our good graces.

Next time you feel down, try to remember that this is America. God's country.

Kerry is a buffoon even among libs. He's still witch hunting anyone who had any part in "smearing" him by telling the truth.
