I don't think Wallace is going to get better. In fact, he's getting worse.

We really need a balanced Sunday Morning Talk Show and a fair host on Fox.

Maybe we should make a concerted effort to contact Fox and ask them to change hosts.

I do believe his appearance on CNN this morning was a "rush job" after his Bush bash last week....

CNN would never pass up an opportunity to spotlight a famous person willing to say as much inflammatory rhetoric as possible.

Yes, thanks for your and other's efforts. You did proud!

C-Span isn't as bad as CNN. Since 11:00 a.m. it has been how terrible we are doing in Iraq, etc. They sounded almost overjoyed in reporting the death of 6 of ours.

No matter how hard they huff and puff, they will not blow America down!

I think that unless Brit takes it back or Tony comes back, we are apt to be stuck with a lib.

Remember that picture of Joe Wilson, with Valerie in the background coming down the stairs in Victoria's Secret lingerie???

Exactly! He knows where her value lies.

Now, have you ever seen a video or picture of him TALKING to his wife? Nope. Just posing, preening and appearing at functions. She is just an adornment. He could have just gotten a Rolex, and not had to feed it.

"qualified it with an apology for not being clear why they were fired and then went on to explain why"

I think he did apologize for it not being handled properly. He didn't elaborate.

Murtha had a very sympathetic audience, also.

I don't think Wolfie interrupted his stupidity once.

Doesn't mean I think boorish behavior should be excused under the heading "boys will be boys".

Well I think in the name of intellectually honesty, the fact that you have a long posting history of coming on the Rush Radio Program daily thread and posting Rush hater posts should be pointed out. I suspect this expression of angst here has more to do with your personal dislike , frequently demonstrated, for Rush Limbaugh.

Phsstpok is amazing. I try to get through his preview thread every Saturday but there is so much info there, I can't grasp it all. I am in awe.

“Does McCain's pro-war stance hurting him in the polls”

In other words: “America... Iraq is lost and any Republican... unelectable.”

Brit mentioned it during his smackdown of Whine Williams and Mara Lie-ason, which was cut short by Mike Wallace's spawn. But Brit did bring up the evidence that flat out contradicted her. Wallace did offer Brit the opportunity to say that she perjured herself, which he declined, but he did say that the credibility of what she testified to under oath should be questioned.

That's our problem. We're never willing to pull the trigger the way the Dhimmicrats are. A Republican sneezes and they'll call for indictments for biological warfare.

Wasn't it Delay that came out after the Terri Schiavo mess...condemning the judges that messed that up???

If so...I think that is when Delay really got in trouble..because even some Republicans were skittish about that whole, terrible story.

I would feel better if Tom would acknowledge that he WAS at the spot that Pres. Bush is now....where his own party was forsaking him when he needed them.

Instead, Tom is just piling on the pile that is Bush bashers...and I don't see how that helps the Republican party right now...IMO

" Sestak tries to be so clam and collected '

Good- A little seafaring humor in honor of that holier than thou, sanctimonious prig Sestak :-).
Sestak looks to be out of the same mold as Kerry-Little people, don't you know who I am ? and don't you dare question my views because I served in the military.
Delay was terrific , he never gets rattled and always has a sense of geniality and bonhomie , while taking it to the faux patriots.
And he never bows and scrapes like so many other Republicans.
Schumer is so repellent on a personal level, second only to Hillary.

Wilson is on his third marriage [with two children from the first marriage] and was probably drawing a pension of around $30K a year in 1998 when he retired from the FS after 25 years. He was married more than 10 years to each of his former wives, which gives them, by law, a piece of his pension. He also had child support payments.

Valerie was a GS-14 so she was his meal ticket. Much better than a Rolex.

A lot of people, even regular listeners, miss Rush's more subtle humor.

I have been under the Weather, and when I am I not nice Company. I also messed up my thumb twice in one Month so it was impossible to type with two hands. That on top of my Dialup being the worst it has ever been due to heavy dialup traffic here for three weeks because of our "Mobil 1 Twelve Hours at Sebring" race. Good thing it is only once a year. I do not know why they even bother to hold the Race any longer the "Audi" has won the last 5 or 6 years in a Row, they might as well just make out the trophy in advance. The "Porsche", "Ferrari",and "Acura" people and all the others should hang their heads. Who wants to go to any Event that you already know who will win. Even if it is your team you start to wonder if it is fixed, kinda like when Rats win races in Conservative districts. Next month by this time I will have DSL and then things will be a lot easier.

And I've seen the DBM's version of "sceptical"...in Somalia and again in Iraq...it's called toss out everything the DoD or militray tells you about what is going on and believe EVERYTHING being told to you by the bad guys.

&&&&&

This needs to be repeated often and to all our friends. The dbm really believe that if they publish what they are told at an official briefing, they are publishing propaganda - and they are just not going to participate in publishing propaganda!!!

Because consumers of news have been conditioned to believe that news outlets publish news, it is really hard to grasp the concept that American major media see our government as an opponent, and report thusly. they are entirely more resistent to publishing what is heard at a DoD briefing than what is heard on the street in Iraq (or seen on al jazeera).
